Nausicaa 요트 소개

노시카(Nausicaa)는 소수의 인원으로 운항 가능한 퍼포먼스 크루징을 위해 설계된 24미터 세일링 요트이다. 구조체와 리그는 풀 카본 파이버로 제작되었으며, 샌드위치 구조와 에폭시 인퓨전 공법으로 제작되어 요트의 경량화를 실현하였다. 날렵한 선체 형상과 미니멀한 상부 구조 프로파일은 노시카에 현대적인 스타일을 부여한다. 대형 선체 창은 인테리어 공간에도 반영되는 특징적인 라인을 형성한다. 선체 전체 폭을 활용한 마스터 스위트는 파노라마 전망과 함께 비치 구역으로의 프라이빗한 직접 접근성을 제공한다. 세심하게 설계된 데크 레이아웃 덕분에 소규모 승무원만으로도 손쉽게 요트를 운항할 수 있다.

고유 특성: This 24 meter light sailing yacht has a full carbon structure and rig, making her able to reach high level short hand performance cruising. The slender hull shape, and the very minimalistic superstructure profile give Nausicaa a modern and contemporary style, along with with its unique big hull window that confers a very recognizable line that is also reflected in interior spaces. The full beam master suite has panoramic views and direct private access to the yacht’s beach area.

생산 기술: The design started from hand sketching and was followed by 2D drawings and 3D modelling. It was a very iterative process that finished with the result of the renders, 2D technical drawings and an engineering technical report. The construction technique for the actual yacht was calculated to be full carbon fiber and sandwich with epoxy infusion.
디자인 과제: One of the main challenges the team had to overcome was the different discipline backgrounds from its three members: product design, architecture and naval engineering. However, this challenge ended up being an strength that allowed the team to learn much more along the process and to obtain a very complete project. It was also particulary difficult to find the appropiate information about the materials and propulsion in order to achieve a environment-friendly yacht, which restricted the team options in that matter.
연구: The research was focused on yachts with the same lenght. The objective was to create a database to obtain main dimensions and design inspiration. The methodology used was creating a data spreadsheet, a cad comparison file and an inspiration moodboard. This data collection allowed the team to start from a solid base and develop further the technical and aesthetic design of the project. The research was fundamental for the results obtained.
영감: The project ideas started from various iconic design references. The inspiration came from other yacht designs of similar lenghts and different design details from a variety of brands and products. Wally played an importan role for both the exterior and interior design: the 'terrace on the sea', the minimalistic exterior profile, the interior steps and furniture forms, among others. Pininfarina was also a great source of inspiration in terms of interior forms and details.
프로젝트 기간: One year development, in Milan.
운영 흐름: The yacht project is born from the idea of allowing short hand sailing, something quite unusual in larger lengths. A well thought and studied deck layout and equipment is the key to this easy sailing feature. The beach area offers the possibility to use the last step from the cockpit as a seating bench and storage. Thanks to the teak extended along the sides it is possible to lean on and enjoy the fantastic terrace with views.
