Formosa Sapphire 스카프 소개

포모사 사파이어는 대만 고유종 조류인 스윈호오목눈이(대만푸른꿩)의 문양으로 장식한 실크 스카프이다. 손으로 그린 붓 터치, 섬세한 선의 질감, 선명한 색감이 특징이다. 사진 자료와 참고 도서를 통해 해당 새를 연구한 뒤 세밀하게 그려냈다. 원래의 붓 터치와 색감을 그대로 살리기 위해 작품을 벡터 파일로 변환했으며, 디지털 프린팅 기법으로 실크에 적용했다. 스카프의 크기는 650×650밀리미터이다. 대만 고유종 조류를 보다 많은 사람들에게 알리고 조류 보호에 대한 인식을 높이는 데 목적이 있다.

디자인 과제: At first, all the sketches and paints are on paper, in order to print, the designer has to convert the original artworks into a vector image file. During the conversion process, adjustment work was time-consuming and challenging because the designer wanted to keep the original strokes and bright colors.
연구: Since Swinhoe's Pheasant is difficult to find, the designer observed the appearance of the animal through photographs and from the book Wild Bird of Taiwan, then drew the beautiful appearance of the animal delicately.
영감: Swinhoe's Pheasant is a kind of endemic species in Taiwan. It is covered in feathers with blue color and its gestures are eye-catching and difficult to see. The designer was once lucky to see the Swinhoe's Pheasant in a mountain, and she was immediately impressed by the animal. She believes these birds should be introduced to the world. At the same time, people can also raise the awareness of endemic species birds conservation.
