We overcame this through extensive prototyping, ultimately developing a composite central axle with precision springs and custom grease. Externally, stringent cost and manufacturing constraints for the high-precision hinge were addressed by collaborating closely with suppliers to optimize mold design and assembly processes, achieving the desired performance with standardized components.

- Our applied design research, combining user observation and prototype testing with designers and end-users, revealed a core need for lighting that adapts to multiple scenarios and simplifies logistics.
