- This house has two 1.55m wide spaces with a 50mm thick T-shaped structure in the centre. The inhabitants can feel at the same time the intimacy they feel in the small width and the sense of sharing a space while being far away from each other. A simple composition contains an ambivalent experience.Natural light from the high windows changes the interior throughout the day.

- Changing stereotypes. This was the most important aspect of the project. For example, a width of 1.55m is considered narrow. But when you add length, the room feels different. Earthen floors, high ceilings and wooden fittings are avoided in Japan because they cause cold. In this house, however, the natural light makes it comfortable in winter. The windows are important. The combination of window placement, size and orientation can make all the difference.

- The minimum dimensions required for each room in the house were verified. The family is set up for five people. This does not include storage, equipment or appliances. This resulted in a dimension of 1550mm.
