Folded 01 ダイニングチェアについて

Folded 01はダイニングチェアである。座面と背もたれは、一枚の無垢のアルミニウム板を手作業で曲げて成形している。折り曲げられた形状がチェアに剛性を与えると同時に、しなやかにたわむ効果を生み、快適な座り心地をもたらす。アルミニウム板は着色されたスチールフレームに取り付けられ、control控えめな色のディテールとして際立つ。デザインの着想源は、正方形の紙のメモを折るという行為であり、折られることで紙が剛性を得るという性質にある。チェアの寸法は幅450mm、奥行500mm、高さ800mmである。ミニマルな佇まいによって、オブジェクトの本質へと立ち返ることを目指した。

独自の特性: Folded 01 is the latest design by Erno Dierckx.By experimenting with production methods a dinningchair was born.
Erno Dierckx tries to challenge the way excitingchairs are constructed and goes back to the essence of the product. The object has a minimalistic yet sophisticated look. The chair consists out of honestand durable materials with a subtle color detail.

デザインの課題: The main challenge was te find a reliable folding technique with a minimal and beautiful appearance
インスピレーション: The idea started while playing with a post-it note used to right down ideas. By folding the square sheet a rigid shape arises. This technique was used to construct a chair. The folded chair consists out of a raw aluminum sheet bend by hand and mounted on a colored steel frame.
プロジェクト期間: Project started Februari 2018 in Antwerp Belgium and finished november 2019. First time exhibited Contemporary design fair Brussels.
オペレーションフロー: Folded 01 is a dinning chair made out of a single sheet raw aluminum. The folding technique gives the chair the needed comfort and has a natural bending effect
