Castellar 裁縫道具の収納について

Castellar（カステラー）は、裁縫道具のためのマグネット式収納コンテナのセットである。コンテナはミシン本体に取り付けられるため、作業中もデスク上を広く保つことができる。ブリッジ部分にはボビン（シャトル）を保持し、机上の収納スペースを削減しながら、一つの作業に必要なボビンをひとまとめにして準備しておける。針はボックス部分に磁力で固定される。下方へくぼんだ円錐形状により、手を傷つけることなく針を取り出せ、4つの面によって異なる種類の針を分類できる。本セットは、マグネットを組み込んだプラスチック射出成形によって製造されている。

独自の特性: CASTELLAR is a set of magnetic storage containers which can be put on the sewing machine for keeping desktop clean while working, and improve the exciting storage containers for different tailoring tools.
The shuttles are stored in the the bridge part, reduces the storage area of the desk, and they can put a group of shuttles which needed one time. The needles are adsorbed on the box part by magnetic force, and the downward concave cone prevents users' hands from being stabbed when taking out the needles, and classify different needles with four surfaces.

デザインの課題: There are so many kinds of tailoring tools and accessories are being used during work, so it took me a lot time to classified them and observe the timing they are used and the way they are taken, and finally find a suitable way to store them.
リサーチ: The tailor ladies are the historical significance and a common memories of everyone in Taiwan. According to my survey research, Taiwanese generally respect the traditional tailor's profession, but most people's impression of them is crowded space and messy table, which leading to the low willingness to learn among young people, end up emerging industrial age faults. Therefore, I want to to create an orderly and convenient working environment through integrating the storage of appliances, improving not only the efficiency but also their professional image.

プロジェクト期間: The project is started in Taiwan from Sep. 2017 and to Jan. 2018.
