Madison ラウンジベンチについて

Madisonは、大人3人まで座ることができるラウンジベンチです。フレームはドイツ産ビーチ材の無垢材とステンレススチール製の円筒形サポートで構成され、座面は高密度フォームで張り込まれています。ほぞ組（ほぞとほぞ穴の接合）が強度をもたらす一方、角度をつけた脚と薄い座面が軽やかな佇まいを生み出しています。試験により、日常使用において300キログラムまでの耐荷重が確認されました。本体寸法は幅1300mm、奥行450mm、高さ370mmです。そのフォルムは1950年代後半のカーデザインを想起させ、現代のインテリアにも調和します。

独自の特性: This comfortable bench has a good size to sit up to 3 persons, and at the same time it has a light and beautiful design.

製造技術: Built in solid German Beech wood, with stainless steel cylindrical supports and upholstered with high density foam. The joint system is mortise and tenon, using Italian high end machinery.
デザインの課題: To achieve a visual lightness on the structure, without losing resistance.
リサーチ: The design of the joinery and the angles of the structure were studied and tested carefully so that this piece could withstand daily use and up to 300 kg of weight without breaking. 4 prototypes were built.
インスピレーション: Part of the Cosmic collection inspired on the cars around 1959. The angle of the legs resembles a rising rocket, and the upholstered surface seems to float upon four metal cylinders that supports it, providing the illusion of an airplane wing. The collection expresses modernism and the spatial idealism present in the early 60's, with a modern and renovated twist that provides a contrast to the upholstery which makes it suitable in almost any contemporary style.
プロジェクト期間: This project took 10 weeks from the first sketches to the final prototype for mass production, made in the laboratory and prototype design in Mérida, Yucatán, México.
オペレーションフロー: These lightweight forms provide sufficient strength and size to accommodate up to three adults, sitting without a problem and at the same time it is easy to carry and move.
