「ロックフェラー・ロッククリスタル・ダイヤモンド」は、14Kイエローゴールドで制作されたファインジュエリーリングです。このリングには、9ミリメートルのカスタムトリリアンカットを施した天然ロッククリスタルがあしらわれています。小粒の天然ダイヤモンドをパヴェセッティングした三角形のメタルパーツがロッククリスタルの上部に装着され、まるで盾のような佇まいを見せます。メタルパーツを宝石の表面に密着させるためには精密な計測が求められ、二つのパーツを接合するために小さな穴が穿たれています。デザインは、ニューヨークの大胆な個性からインスピレーションを得ています。身に着けて楽しむことも、コレクターズアイテムとして所有することもできる作品です。

独自の特性: This ring is made in 14K yellow gold and features a custom cut trillion cut natural rock crystal. A triangle piece filled with tiny pave diamonds is affixed onto the rock crystal, almost looking like a diamond shield. Measurements have to be precise in order for the top metal shield to fit the surface of the rock crystal.

製造技術: First a ring setting was drawn on paper and transferred to the computer to create a computer model. The design was then casted and a raw rock crystal was cut to fit the setting. The top surface of the rock crystal was measured in order to create the top metal piece filled with diamonds.

Once the diamonds are set, the top piece is affixed to the rock crystal by drilling holes on the surface of the gemstone. The rock crystal and the metal piece is then joined together.

インスピレーション: This design is inspired by the bold characteristics of New York City. Like the city, this ring portrays courage, love and vulnerability. Rock crystal is used as its name represent the "rock" city of New York- buildings cover the whole city.
