Little Fairy イラストレーションシリーズについて

「Little Fairy（小さな妖精）」は、花々を中国の伝統衣装であるチャイナドレス（旗袍）をまとった女性として擬人化したイラストレーションシリーズである。それぞれの人物像は、花ごとに異なる性格や雰囲気を研究したうえで描かれている。作品はコンピュータのベクターソフトウェアによって制作されている。各場面は枠に囲まれ、その枠は窓を思わせることで、画面に奥行き感をもたらしている。枠の両側の文様は中国の伝統的なモチーフを応用したもので、浅浮き彫りのように表現されている。本シリーズは伝統文化と現代的なデザインを融合させ、中国美術の美しさを伝えるものである。

デザインの課題: How to match the tonality of different flowers with the human images in the design process is a process worthy of in-depth study. In the design, keywords are extracted from different flower images and feelings, and then the keywords are matched with human beings for redesign
リサーチ: Flower fairy series of illustrations will be in the image of Chinese traditional cheongsam women personified image design. After studying the characters, feelings and styles represented by different flowers, the designer used computer vector rendering technology to draw a series of flower personification. The work simulates the form of ancient people in the window in the way of frame, creating a proper sense of space in the picture. Meanwhile, in pattern design, both sides of the frame are redesigned according to traditional Chinese patterns, and presented in bas-relief form. Through print and Internet dissemination, so that people can better understand the artistic beauty of traditional Chinese culture.
