「The Sun From The East（東方の太陽）」は、あるデザイン大学のために制作されたイベントビジュアルデザインです。太陽が主要なビジュアル要素として用いられていますが、これは太陽が東から昇ることに由来し、学校の名称と、その着実な年ごとの成長の双方を映し出しています。円形やその他の幾何学図形を基本エレメントとし、構成は長期にわたる検証を経て練り上げられました。このデザインはポスター、書籍、招待状に展開されています。印刷時には特定の箇所に光沢フィルムとマットフィルムを施し、グラフィックを際立たせました。ポスターのサイズは70×100センチメートルです。
