Regarding Haidongqing Gas Detection Drones

Haidongqing is a gas detection drone designed for industrial monitoring and emergency response. The form takes inspiration from the diving posture of an eagle, with lines that suggest speed. A modular structure holds gas sensors and a real-time data transmission system. The body is made with three-dimensional printing, computer controlled precision machining and carbon fiber composite molding, which keeps the drone light and strong. The drone measures 480 mm in width, 400 mm in length and 100 mm in height. A handheld device controls flight, while a display and alarm system report gas levels.

Award Record

This recognition makes Guangpeng Yue a winner of 10 A' Design Awards. The awards were granted between the 2020 - 2021 and the 2024 - 2025 editions of the A' Design Award & Competition.
