More About Koazy Homestay
Koazy is a homestay interior located in Chengdu, China. The space covers about 100 square meters and serves two purposes. Koazy works as a residence for guests and as a small exhibition hall when the rooms are not occupied. The layout is kept as open as possible, while privacy is preserved. Decoration is light and only functional furniture is retained, so the home products on display act as the main interior elements. The main materials are wood, artistic coatings and metal. The intent is a comfortable and practical stay.

Design Details
- Unique Properties
- The project combined with Koazy's products, and implanted a large number of cozy elements instead of the traditional homestay model to make the entire space more comfortable. At the same time, it has the functions of homestays and exhibition halls, hoping to give guests a more energetic and interesting scene experience.
- Inspiration
- Koazy is a new home brand that pursues exquisite and high-value. In the opinion of Koazy, "laziness" is not a derogatory term. People who know "being lazy and enjoying life" are the scarce retrograde of contemporary information vulgar. We believe that a product which could make people "lazy" dosen't rely on the appearance, but comfortable and really practical.
- Research
- At the beginning of the project, we started researching how to integrate space with the product? How to reflect the temperament of products and brands through space? In the design process, we only retain functional furniture through lightweight decoration and use the product itself as the interior decoration material.
- Challenge
- How to integrate a residential and display space is a challenge of the project. Through preliminary research and planning, we have designed the space as open as possible, ensuring privacy while also maximizing its openness.
- Realization and Technology
- The main materials used in the project are wood, artistic coatings, and metal.
- Operation and Interaction
- As a residential product, it can meet the needs of residents well, and at the same time, it can undertake small exhibitions when no one is occupied.
- Project Duration and Location
- The project started in Chengdu in March 2023, completed its design in July 2023, and is about to begin on-site construction.
