The award was conferred within the 2022 - 2023 A' Design Award & Competition and was decided through blind peer review by an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members, who assessed anonymized entries against predetermined criteria.

Regarding Vilicci Virtuoso Grill
Vilicci Virtuoso is a grill designed for cooking over a fire. Every component is milled from solid blocks of stainless steel with CNC milling machines, and some parts are made of brass. A skewer rotisserie unit can be placed on the grill or removed by opening a sturdy deadbolt latch. The hexagonal cone shape of the fire chamber and the placement of the air vents support even air circulation, so the fire burns evenly and efficiently. The height of the inner fire chamber is adjustable, which allows the cooktop temperature to be fine-tuned. Ash is removed through a vacuum cleaner port.
About Richard Solloshi
Founder of Solloshi Ltd., Richard Solloshi has been involved in architecture and interior design for 20 years, now with over 100 successful projects under his belt. 10 years ago, his passion brought him into the bicycle industry where hechannelled his visionary ideas into a next generation e-bike. He was the chief designer of several high-end electric bicycle projects and it was during this time that he gained extensive knowledge in the field of metalworking, with a special focus on high-tech, light, but strong materials such as 7075 aluminium alloy and titanium.

- Unique Properties
- Every component of the Virtuoso grill is milled from solid blocks of stainless steel and crafted using state-of-the-art CNC milling machines. With the addition of the state of the art skewer rotisserie system this grill ticks all the boxes when it comes to functionality and striking appearance. The special hexagonal cone shape of the fire chamber and the strategically placed air vents ensure a perfect air circulation around the fire which will burn evenly and efficiently throughout the grilling.

- Realization and Technology
- Self-healing properties of stainless steel ensure that the grills will last for a lifetime. The generously sized cooktop - which measures nearly 40 inches in diameter – and all other precision engineered parts are made from stainless steel or brass which provides outstanding grilling performance and unsurpassed durability.
- Operation and Interaction
- The rotisserie unit can be safely placed on or removed from the grill by opening a sturdy deadbolt latch. Emptying ash from the fire chamber is very easy due to the convenient vacuum cleaner port. By adjusting the height of the inner fire chamber, you can fine-tune the temperature of the grill’s cooktop. The cooktop’s temperature also slightly varies between the inner and outer parts, so one can control the speed of cooking by placing food at the appropriate area.
