About Silhouettes Lamp
Silhouettes is a table lamp designed for additional lighting in homes and at the workplace. The lamp is 500 mm high and is formed by metal elements of the same shape in different scales, following the nesting principle of matryoshka dolls. These elements can be moved to change the appearance of the lamp. The elements can also be aligned in one plane, so the lamp packs flat and needs less packaging, material and transport space. A sphere of frosted glass at the center holds an LED board. The lamp is made of a metal frame, frosted glass and a fabric wire.

Design Details
- Unique Properties
- The unique design allows you to change the location of the metal "silhouettes" of the table lamp. Using this, you can change the design of the lamp, adjust it individually for each person. In addition, this approach allows all features to be placed in the same plane. This allows you to make a compact package. This helps to save on material and logistics. Since it requires less space. It has a positive impact on the environment.
- Inspiration
- The main source of inspiration was the National Russian toy - Matryoshka, however, to be more precise, it was the principle of its design. It consists of one form, but of different scales. They can all create a common object. In addition, this principle allows you to change the design of the product and interact with the user in the form of a game. The name of the lamp conveys the basic principle of the design, which is built on the scaling of one silhouette.
- Research
- To create a movable structure that can conform to any person, and also assemble to save space for the sake of ecology.
- Challenge
- The main challenge was the technical thought-out of the intersection of "metal" silhouettes in the lower part of the body of the lamp, where all elements must be on the same level for the stability of the table lamp, as well as inventing fasteners for the wire.
- Realization and Technology
- Metal frame, frosted glass, LED board, fabric wire.
- Operation and Interaction
- A person can interact with a table lamp. Since all metal "silhouettes" are mobile and it is possible to change their location by changing the design of the product. Also, the color scheme of the series, consisting of white, black, red colors and brass, allows you to fit it into any modern interior, and become a functional lamp for additional lighting or a useful lamp for the workplace.
