Design Details
- Unique Properties
- The manager of this restaurant is Japanese nationality and lives in Taiwan for many years. Therefore, we reproduce the Meiji Restoration style of Japan in this interior design, using elements such as the glass wall lamps, ceramic tiles, pine woods. We also add the Japanese Sake and wood tree to return the interior to the outdoor space and keep the Japanese tradition that people sometimes drink under the tree. Also, we wish to soothe the homesickness of people who lives far away from their home.
- Inspiration
- The Japanese-style restaurant is located next to the Xike Railway Station in New Taipei City. The place offers western food with Japanese taste and basically for office workers and families nearby. However, in the binning, the condition of the space is not very well, because this space is more than 30 years old. By taking our plan, for this space, to mix the Eastern and Western cultures, the harmony and Japanese Restoration period was reappeared, as well as the western design style. The environment of this case is located in the old community, and the new science park is nearby. People go to this restaurant to relax after getting off work and before taking the train.
