About Ogushi Dental Care Interni di clinica sanitaria
I materiali comprendono impiallacciatura in legno, marmo naturale, pittura materica effetto pietra e moquette tessuta.

- Unique Properties
- This project fuses Japanese aesthetics with clinical trust. The logo, ODC, represents Ogushi (honor), Dental/Detail (precision), and Clinic/Care (compassion). These values and brand colors are integrated throughout the space. The design translates the client's "detail-first" and "warm care" ethos into a spatial language. A recessed entry with landscaping offers natural light and privacy. A pioneering one-in, one-out sterilization workflow sets a new standard for high-end medical spaces.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- This is an interior renovation project for a dental clinic, transforming a 100-ping space within a pre-existing building. Key technical solutions include a raised-floor system throughout to conceal extensive plumbing and electrical infrastructure, addressing the low ceiling height and ensuring accessibility. Ramp slopes and stair risers were precisely calibrated for comfort and safety. A pioneering one-in, one-out sterilization workflow was implemented to prevent cross-contamination. The design uses a durable material palette including natural stone, wood veneer, and Bolon woven carpet.

- Production Technology
- The design prioritized function before aesthetics. All flooring is elevated to conceal plumbing and electrical systems. The reception desk features ink-wash marble and timber slats, complemented by a textured stone paint wall. Treatment and sterilization areas were planned to strict medical standards, with a dual one-in, one-out system to prevent contamination. The material palette includes wood veneer, natural marble, textured stone paint, and Bolon woven carpet, with brand colors integrated into detailing for a sophisticated finish.
- Design Challenge
- The project faced challenges from the old building, which had numerous columns limiting layout and openness. Dental requirements for extensive plumbing and power under each chair were compounded by restricted ceiling heights. To solve this, a full raised-floor system was adopted. Ramp inclines and stair dimensions were carefully calibrated. Within the sterilization area, a dual-entry configuration was devised to maintain rigorous safety and workflow separation.
- Research
- To accommodate extensive plumbing and electrical infrastructure, a raised-floor solution was used, which also improved stair safety. The entrance was recessed to create a landscaped forecourt, making greenery and daylight the first elements of the patient experience. Inside, six private treatment rooms are named after the five elements and the sun to embed cultural resonance. The sterilization room's dual-flow design significantly improves operational efficiency and hygiene.
- Inspiration
- Inspired by the client's Japanese heritage and shokunin spirit, the design transforms a cold dental clinic into a resort-like healing space. The team focused on brand positioning and medical function before styling. Blending traditional Japanese elements with modern geometry, the design uses natural materials like marble and wood to create a warm, detailed atmosphere. This approach redefines the dental experience by prioritizing a high-end, comfortable environment.
- Project Duration
- Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the project took 6 months to complete, finishing in June 2025.
- Operation Flow
- The design is built around patient comfort and efficiency. A recessed entry with filtered glazing and landscaping reduces anxiety, immersing patients in greenery and natural light while safeguarding privacy. The internal layout ensures a smooth, uninterrupted flow. A one-in, one-out sterilization zone minimizes infection risks. Raised floors conceal utilities, while precisely proportioned ramps and stairs ensure universal accessibility. This interplay of light, materials, and flow guides patients through a reassuring and efficient journey.
