About Trip of Tea Illustrazione
Trip of Tea è una coppia di illustrazioni realizzate per un'azienda cinese del tè. Le due opere si ispirano a due storiche rotte di trasporto del tè: la Via del Tè delle Diecimila Miglia e la Via della Seta Marittima. Un cavallo, ripreso dal logo del cliente, compare come messaggero lungo ciascuna rotta. La forma di ogni cavallo e il motivo decorativo della sua sella cambiano per rispecchiare le caratteristiche della città o della regione di destinazione. Sono incluse scene di degustazione del tè provenienti da diversi Paesi. Le illustrazioni sono disegnate a mano su tavoletta grafica e si sviluppano come un rotolo continuo a moduli affiancati, adatto a poster, cartoline e altri utilizzi.

- Unique Properties
- These two works are illustration designs created for the famous Chinese tea company "Bama Tea". We combined the most conspicuous horse element in the client's company logo and applied it to the illustration, using it as the main body and the theme of "Revisiting the Road to Tea", with the horse element running through it. It is worth noting that different images of horses and saddles vary, combining different characteristics of tourist destinations and drawing in depth different countries and regions. The entire picture is unfolded in a tiled form to facilitate subsequent graphic promotion and use.

- The size displayed as a separate illustration work is 3.84m*0.76m using giclee technology. Commercial applications vary in size depending on the type.

- The difficulty in creating this illustration lies in the combination of tea cultures from different countries. It is necessary to avoid cluttering the picture and maintain a unified style without losing its characteristics.

- Reference is made to the tea culture of different countries and regions in history, and the entrepreneurial background of the client company is integrated with it. A large number of tea drinking scenes from different countries are integrated into the illustrations to show the tea culture of different countries, and are connected by horses in different postures. The illustrations are colorful and harmonious.
- Inspiration
- The two illustrations are inspired by the two tea transportation routes in Chinese history, namely the "Ten Thousand Miles Tea Road" and the "Maritime Silk Road", using horses as messengers throughout the route of the Ten Thousand Miles Tea Road.
- Project Duration
- The project started in Beijing in August 2022 and was completed in Beijing in December 2022
