About Yanzhi Rossetto
Yanzhi è un rossetto ispirato alle cartine di rossetto (yanzhi) utilizzate nell'antica Cina. Il progetto riporta una forma cosmetica classica nella vita quotidiana contemporanea. Una leggera pressione sulla base dell'astuccio fa fuoriuscire la cartina impregnata di colore. L'utente premi quindi le labbra sulla carta per applicare il colore, e la cartina viene richiamata all'interno tramite una piccola linguetta. L'astuccio è realizzato in plastica PP, un materiale idoneo al contatto diretto con cosmetici e alimenti, mentre la parte del rossetto è costituita da carta impermeabile e resistente allo strappo. Il corpo sottile e piatto si inserisce facilmente in un portafoglio.

- Unique Properties
- This is a unique lipstick design. The most differences are appearance and function. In appearance, it was inspired the ancient Chinese Yanzhi. The reappearance of classical elements in modern life. In function, it is different from the major lipsticks on the market. Just push the bottom end and the lipstick paper will be pushed out. Women can apply makeup as long as they take a sip on Yanzhi

- According to the survey, consumers like to choose the type of lipstick according to the occasion and clothing. In addition, consumers tend to choose a lipstick price of less than 200 yuan. The market size will be close to 28 billion euros in 2025. There is a huge market demand for beautiful, unique, and inexpensive lipsticks.
- Inspiration
- I got my inspiration from ancient Chinese lipstick. Yanzhi is the lipstick of ancient China. It has a very unusual way of making up. Women only need to sip it to make up. Our motivation is to make this ancient product more suitable for use in modern life.
- Project Duration
- The project started in September 2020 in Milan and finished in February 2021 in that place, and was exhibited in China in February 2021.
- Operation Flow
- To use it, first place your hand on the bottom of Yanzhi. Then gently push up to push the lipstick out. Then the lady takes a sip of Yanzhi's lipstick paper and finishes the makeup easily. Finally, after the makeup is done, Yanzhi is pulled back by the dot at the bottom.
