Um Ruyi Sýningarmiðstöð
Ruyi er sýningarmiðstöð staðsett í Longhu fjármálamiðstöðinni í Zhengzhou í Kína. Form byggingarinnar byggir á Ruyi, hátíðlegum veldissprota sem er hefðbundið tákn um gæfu í Kína. Stálgrind myndar bogadregna lögun byggingarinnar. Öll framhliðin er klædd hvítum álplötum. Hver plata er mótuð í boga með mismunandi sveigju samkvæmt nákvæmum útreikningum. Plöturnar eru samsettar þannig að þær mynda straumlínulagað yfirborð. Byggingin nær yfir 1800 fermetra svæði og er kennileiti innan fjármálahverfisins.

Ruyi Sýningarmiðstöð vann A' Design Award í platínu, afar virta viðurkenningu sem veitt er sannarlega einstökum, glæsilegum og stórfenglegum hönnunarverkum. - The project is located in Longhu Financial Centre, Zhengzhou,China. Longhu Financial Centre is located in the Longhu area of Zhengdong New District. The North Longhu Financial Island is connected to the CBD of Zhengdong New District on the south side through a 3.7 kilometre long canal, forming a Ruyi shaped financial headquarters area.Therefore, the designer takes its meaning of good fortune and its shape as the landmark building, making it the city’s business card in the area.

- In this construction, steel structure is used to make a curved shape. The entire facade is covered by white aluminium plates with each plate processed into curves with different arcs through precise calculations.They are perfectly spliced to form a streamlined shape, forming a sense of modern technology and creating the charm of Ruyi. Every design detail is so fully displayed.

- Our biggest challenge during the construction process was how to achieve our design, the curved shape of the facade.The entire facade is covered by white aluminium plates with each plate processed into curves with different arcs through precise calculations. They are perfectly spliced to form a streamlined shape.

- Longhu Financial Centre is located in the Longhu area of Zhengdong New District. The North Longhu Financial Island is connected to the CBD of Zhengdong New District on the south side through a 3.7 kilometre long canal, forming a Ruyi shaped financial headquarters area,which is considered a finishing touch to the construction of Zhengdong New District. It represents the top image in the field of the Central Plains Economic Zone, and is responsible for the rise of Central China.

- The project design is inspired by the image of Ruyi. Ruyi, a ceremonial sceptre, as the name implies, everything goes well, is the traditional auspicious object for Chinese people. In ancient times, when the emperor met with foreign envoys, he also gave Ruyi as a sign of respect and friendship between the two countries.
