Um Everything Bókasett

Bókasett samanstendur af tveimur bókum um hefðbundna kínverska menningu. Jarðgreinarnar tólf mynda meginefnið, samtvinnaðar árstíðunum, sólartímabilunum og kínverska stjörnumerkjahringnum. Hver bók mælist 170 x 300 x 25 millimetrar og er gerð úr viði og sérstökum pappír. Bandið fylgir brotformi fornra kínverskra bóka, þannig að auðvelt er að fletta síðunum og hægt er að opna þær að hluta eða í heild. Framleiðslan felur í sér leysigreftrun, leysiprentun, fellingu og heitþrykk. Uppsetningin nýtir handteiknaðar myndir, áferðarlist og háa gráskala tóna.

Einstakar eiginleikar: These are books about traditional culture, it contains the philosophy of development and change of everything. The book is created with the twelve earthly branches as main content, combined with seasons, solar terms, Chinese zodiac. In layout design, it selects objects like leaves, buds, flowers and stones, uses methods of combination, reconstruction, contrast. In binding process, it was bind in folding form of ancient Chinese books, used wood, special paper and hot stamping materials.

The books are available for printing media, motion graphics and installation art now, and they will be used for web pages, App, digital media in the future.

Framleiðslutækni: Books are made of wood and special paper. Printing process includes laser engraving, laser printing, creasing and hot stamping. In layout design, the books used hand-drawn graphics, texture art and the hue of the high gray. The software being used are Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

From a social perspective, things are small, the world is big, people need to be open-minded, keep harmonious coexistence with everything. How to express Chinese culture and traditional philosophy through bookbinding and layout design is the research challenge.
