Interview with Tommy Hui

As a studio, we seek to transform design & make ideas as interiors & installation using digital customization.

I specialize in interior architecture, digital fabrication, and geometric patterns, and I have contributed to the design and development of several high-profile and complex projects, the expansion of the Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Museum of History, and a private villa in Hong Kong Island. I have also created and exhibited my own art installations (e.g. deTour@PMQ) that transform geometric patterns into interactive and dynamic forms, using advanced technologies and techniques such as 3D printing, CNC milling, and programming. I am passionate about exploring the intersection of architecture, art, and technology, and how they can enhance the quality and diversity of the built environment.
