I have enjoyed traveling on the visual design road and have indulged in it since I
was a child. When I was four years old, my father went abroad for business. I was still in
kindergarten; every afternoon my mother picked me up but I was so depressed because
my father never appeared like those of the other kids. So when I participated in the
painting competition, my topic was “hope to see my father’s hands.” My hands were
eager to hold my father’s hands, the girl who was tiptoeing and waiting for her father’s
hug. Huge tears just flowed out of her eyes. No sound, no hints, people just use their eyes
to read your heart from the artwork and follow what you want to express. This is the
power of visual communication, and because of the power make me want to be a designer.
