Design Legend Interview

Never Give Up

I’m so interested in reading books particularly historical books which reveals different cultures and civilization from ancient to contemporary era. Furthermore, ecological and poetic books also are my favorites. The books that have great effects on me, does not relate to architecture or design, but help me a lot to see the world in a deeper look for every stage of my life and also designing and each time that I read them they give me a new thing to learn. They are theTao Te Ching by Laozi, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Hasht ketab by Sohrab Sepehri.

Honestly, there are many names in my mind that I really want to talk with them but If I want to say some of them I would like to talk with Santiago Calatrava Valls (Spanish architect), Daniel Libeskind (Polish-American architect), Kengo Kuma (Japanese architect) and Ken Yeang (Malaysian architect) that I really admire their designs. If Dame Zaha Hadid , Frank Lloyd Wright, Antoni gaudí ,Leonardo da Vinci and Shaykh Baha' al-Din (one of the great Iranian architects) were alive, they were also my favorites to talk.

Environmentally friendly, sustainability, convenience and aesthetic

Nowadays, the most challenges of our societies are energy crisis and environmental pollution so it is a responsibility of every designer to manage their design with considering to Eco-friendly performances as an initial design.

I always try to follow the quote of Malcolm Wells (Pioneer ecofriendly architect) “...A building should consume its own waste, maintain itself, match nature's pace, provide wildlife habitat, moderate climate and weather and be beautiful. That's a series of pass/fail evaluation criteria...." and the other one is “I woke up one day to the fact that the earth's surface was made for living plants, not industrial plants,” so I’m trying to design more eco-friendly products as well as architectural spaces.

I would like to be an international architect .One of my goals is designing and realizing of the earth sheltered village which is completely Zero-point energy and one of my dreams is winning The Pritzker Architecture Prize.
