Designer of the Day Interview

12 May 2024

I have been engaged in the design industry for 13 years and have worked for several tiny and medium-sized enterprises in Xiamen and Shenzhen, China. He graduated from Hunan University of Technology in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, China.

Being a designer has been my dream since I was a child. When I was little, I liked to draw and make things by hand, and I was particularly interested in fine arts. In school, I constantly participated in various art competitions and activities and won some awards. It made me even more determined to become a designer.
After graduating from high school, I chose to study design in college. In college, I studied all kinds of related courses, including graphic design, animation, product design and so on. At the same time, I also actively participate in various art activities and practical projects on campus, and continuously improve my skills and experience in practice.
After graduation, I began to look for job opportunities in related fields and successfully got an internship in a well-known design company. There, I was exposed to the design needs and challenges of a real business environment and gained valuable experience and guidance.
With the passage of time, through continuous efforts and accumulation, my career has gradually and steadily developed. Today, I have become a senior designer, with some influence and recognition in the industry.
Of course, in this process we also encountered a lot of difficulties and setbacks, but every time through efforts to overcome and continue to progress. As a designer, I believe that creative thinking, solid skills and continuous learning are extremely vital.
To sum up, it takes a lot of effort and sweat to become a great designer, but as long as you keep loving and persevering, you will eventually achieve success.

First, requirements analysis is one of the key steps in the design process. Understanding the needs and expectations of the customer or user is crucial to developing a suitable design solution. Only by thoroughly understanding the requirements can we ensure that the final design can meet the actual needs of customers or users.
Secondly, creative thinking is also a part that cannot be ignored. In the design process, creative thinking can help us find solutions that are fresh, unique and fit our needs. Through open thinking and cross-disciplinary integration, more innovative ideas can be inspired and translated into practical and feasible design solutions.
Finally, attention to detail is needed throughout the design process. From the preliminary idea to the final product presentation, every link needs to be perfected to grasp every detail. This is the only way to ensure that the final product reaches a high standard and is recognized by the customer or user.
When designing, it is necessary to have a clear theme and direction goal to guide the design. Digital tools are commonly used in design for drawing and modeling. Sometimes, traditional hand-drawing tools are used.

During the design process, I will feel a variety of different emotions. The first is excitement and excitement, because design is a creative process that allows me to show my imagination and talent. When I start to come up with new design ideas, I feel full of enthusiasm and energy.

However, there will also be challenges and difficulties in the actual operation, at which time I may feel anxious and stressed. Sometimes I have to deal with feedback from customers or team members, which can cause some negative emotions, but it also makes me work harder to improve the design.

In addition, you will experience a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment during the design process. When a project is completed and recognized, the euphoric feeling of success is indescribable.

Overall, the design process experienced a variety of emotional ups and downs. From the initial excitement and excitement, to the anxiety and frustration that may occur later, and finally to the satisfaction and sense of achievement brought by success. These are common and normal emotional changes in design work, and they all have a positive impact on my work.

First of all, my upbringing is an essential factor. As a child, I was influenced by my uncle. I have a keen interest in painting, sculpture, handwork and other arts.
Secondly, my educational experience has also had a profound impact on my career choice. In college, I chose industrial design as my major and actively participated in various design competitions and project practices. These experiences not only improved my design ability, but also made me more determined to pursue the design industry in the future.
In addition, the interpersonal relationship and market demand that I came into contact with during my internship and work also shaped me to become a designer. Through communication and cooperation with clients, colleagues and other industry professionals, I have gradually formed my own distinct aesthetic and creative way of thinking.
In general, my background enables me to have a diversified vision and an open mind, and to respond flexibly and provide innovative solutions in the face of complex and changing market demands. These special features have shaped who I am today - a professional who loves and is dedicated to design.

After graduating from university, I became a member of the design group. I simply left school, looking forward to a bright future, and successfully engaged in design work in Xiamen and Shenzhen. In this process, I encountered numerous setbacks and tests of workplace PUA and human nature, but it is these setbacks that make me gradually stronger and continually temper my heart and patience.
In the future, I want to design some excellent products as often as possible, and then participate in some significant competitions to promote myself and continuously break through my design level. On the other hand, participating in the competition, winning honors for themselves, can better establish service relations with customers, receive customer resources, and win cooperation. Finally, to build their own design studio, looking for the right partners, together with the pursuit of excellence, for the dream.
In the future, if I have the opportunity, I will continue to do some designs related to Chinese traditional culture and some agricultural products, so as to solve the design problems in the sale of agricultural products for the vast number of Chinese farmers.

To youthful designers, I really want to say: What was your original intention? Why do you choose the profession of design? Do you insist on it because you love it or simply for survival? The energy gathered is different, and the result will be different. If you are not firm in your will, you may not be able to go on this road, and you will waste your youth and regret the choice you made. Then firmly go on, go your own way, let others say. I am sure you will succeed.
To be honest, I did not get any effective advice from my tutors and professors. They invariably gave advice from their own standpoint, and what advice was mostly one-sided, or lack of practical proof, purely theoretical, so it may not be suitable for their own development. But from the boss, customers, distributors, these business operators, learn a lot of experience and knowledge.
In my spare time, I will find some books related to design, visit museums, historical sites, design exhibitions and other activities, or browse some well-known design websites on the Internet, or large supermarkets at home and abroad to broaden my horizon. After all, the horizon determines the height and depth of design.

As a successful designer, I think other professional designers should first pay attention to their own professional quality and skill level. In this extremely competitive industry, only by continuously learning and improving their design capabilities can they remain invincible. Secondly, we should be good at listening to customer needs, and maintain excellent communication with customers to understand what kind of design works they want. At the same time, we should have the courage to express our own opinions and creativity, and show confidence and professionalism when communicating with customers.
In addition, teamwork is also extremely valuable. In a team, everyone should respect each other, cooperate with each other, and accomplish tasks together. But also need to have a strong time management ability and pressure resistance ability, in the face of work pressure can still maintain high efficiency work.
Finally, I believe that successful designers should keep an open mind and keep innovating. With the rapid development of society, modern and unique design concepts will be more popular. Therefore, we need to actively pay attention to industry dynamics, absorb current knowledge, broaden our horizons, and dare to challenge traditional concepts to innovate.
In short, in this industry full of opportunities and challenges coexist, in addition to having excellent technology, but also need perseverance, continuous progress, tough work. I hope that every professional designer can find a suitable path for their own growth and development, and achieve their own success!

Get up at about 7 a.m. every day, and at 9 a.m., listen to light music to get into work. In the rest, I will look out the window of the lovely scenery, improve the eye fatigue, regularly at work rest, play a mobile game to relax the mood, make a pot of black tea, eliminate fatigue. I think this is the most pleasant thing.

The so-called trend is only popular for a period of time, which has its time restriction. However, I choose to adhere to my own personal design style. I do not deliberately pursue a certain design style, but I will learn the positive aspects of the fashion trend and integrate them into my own design. Of course, if you need to, you can try to develop some popular products. What's the difference between challenging it? I will think about the reasons for the popularity of this style, whether it can be applied to different designs, or whether it can be combined into my own design style. Integration is all that matters

When judging the design of a product or project, I normally look at the following aspects:
First, I focus on the functionality of the product or project. A suitable design should be able to meet the needs of users and be able to provide convenience and practicality. Whether it is a product or a project, its functionality is a crucial factor.
Secondly, I will consider the aesthetics and user experience of the design. A perfect design is not only about functional satisfaction, but also needs to consider visual effects, operational fluency and user experience. Excellent design should be able to bring people a sense of pleasure, and let the user get a comfortable and pleasant experience in the process of use.
In addition, I also look at whether the design is innovative and sustainable. A great design should be able to lead the trend, break through the tradition, and have long-term development potential. At the same time, with the increasing awareness of environmental protection today, sustainable development has become one of the critical criteria to judge the quality of a design.
Finally, I think that the fit with the market demand is also one of the essential indicators to measure whether the product or project design is excellent. No matter how excellent the design, it is difficult to succeed without the support of market demand.
All in all, in my understanding, "excellent" design should have features such as functionality, aesthetics and user experience, innovation and sustainable development, and meet market needs.

When the design theme is clear and the idea is fresh, the subsequent execution work will be smooth, and the project can generally be completed on time and with excellent results. However, if the communication with the customer is not smooth in the current period, it will have a negative impact on the subsequent implementation of the work, which is more of a consumption at this time. If the communication with the customer is not smooth, I will suspend the work in hand, and first think about how to better communicate with the customer about the project and build trust. Commercial packaging has secured the customer and essentially solved the scheme. However, if it is competition work, I will spend additional energy and time considering the possibilities in the design, and the time cycle of thinking will be longer, several months or even half a year. The design cycle is also relatively lengthy, and there will be pauses in the middle, or changes numerous times, until finally, oh! This is what I want, and this instinct tells me it's ready to race.

At present, I think the best work is the work of seeing mountains and rivers. When I was commissioned by a friend to develop this product, I spent a lot of time and energy designing this product. At the beginning, I wanted to break through myself, prove myself, explain my understanding of traditional Chinese culture in a way, and how to embody the excellent wisdom in culture. How to guide people's emotions? How to resonate with consumers? Since the design theme I chose was cultural and ideological, I encountered a lot of problems in the early stage of the design. First, the relationship between the design theme and the brand, and the relationship between the product attributes and the liquor culture. Later, I found that the three different drunken states of drinking are related to the triple state of seeing mountains and seeing water. At the same time, the scene of drinking, the purpose of drinking, and the sociality of drinking are also consistent with the ideological connotation of seeing mountains and rivers. Some people truly want to drink, wine is merely wine, some people drink to drown their sorrows and drink for social purposes. At this time, wine is no longer wine. Finally, return to reality, after the feeling of drinking, wine is still wine. Therefore, the theme of wine is closely linked with people, and it was later decided to use a humanoid Zen bottle to carry this culture, and the theme pattern combined with the clever interpretation of landscape Chinese characters, the perfect interpretation of the design theme. The display of the bottle and the outer box correctly reinforces this cultural character, and in order to allow users to better pour the wine, the side of the bottle is designed to be flat, easy to hold the wine, while the linear texture of the bottle and noisy skin increase the friction, preventing the bottle from slipping from the hand when pouring.
Unfortunately, due to my limited personal condition and ability, the rendering result and final rendering effect of this project did not reach the perfect state in my mind. Through this project, I realized that there are still limitations to working alone. Imagine if there is help from team strength, will there be different results?
At present, I am developing health tea product packaging. If I have the honor to present in front of you, please give me a lot of advice.

For this problem, I think the design of Ken Yuan, Mr. Pan Hu and Mr. Deng Xiongbo is very cool. They are designers who are at the top of their field, and I aim for them to surpass myself and go further and further on my own track.
If time could travel, I would like to make a communication journey with Vincent Willem van Gogh, Alphonse Maria Mucha, Giorgio Morandi, Shi Tao and the Great Eight Mountain People.

At present, my favorite cities are Changsha and Xiamen. In the creative process, music is essential. It can relax my mood and stimulate my creative desire. Innate cultural attributes will certainly affect their own design projects, which are determined by the growth environment. I currently live and work in Changsha. First, design is essential to the progress of society. Excellent design can improve production efficiency, improve people's quality of life, and promote the development of technology and culture. For example, in the field of industrial manufacturing, correctly-designed machinery and equipment can considerably improve production efficiency; In urban planning, reasonable layout and attractive buildings can improve the living environment of residents.
Second, excellent design also has a profound impact on individual life and culture. Exquisite home decoration, fashionable clothing and convenient and practical products can bring personal pleasure and create a unique and colorful cultural atmosphere. At present, I work alone without a partner. As a designer, I think when choosing a business partner, what I value most is whether the partner has the sense of innovation and professionalism. First of all, the sense of innovation can bring continuously updated design concepts and product ideas, so that cooperation projects always remain dynamic and competitive. Secondly, professionalism, including in-depth understanding of industry knowledge, excellent communication and coordination skills and efficient execution skills, is crucial in the process of cooperation. In addition, I will also consider whether the partner has a stable and reliable production supply chain and a good business reputation. In short, when choosing a business partner, I will comprehensively consider all factors and conduct in-depth communication and exchanges with potential partners to ensure the maximization of interests of both parties and achieve a win-win situation.
The most essential things to look for in a person to hire or partner with are his or her character, honesty and trustworthiness, professionalism, creativity and teamwork. Whether the two sides are alike-minded, pursue the same goal, and have the courage and conviction to give everything to this goal. When talking about work and corporate culture, I think "striving for excellence" should not be forgotten.
As a designer, the core challenge I face is changing market demands and fierce competition. Design trends are evolving as technology evolves and consumer tastes shift. Therefore, I need to be sensitive to market trends and user needs at all times, and continuously learn and improve my design ability. At the same time, competing with different designers is also a challenge. I need to keep an innovative mind and find my own unique design style to stand out. In this process, perseverance, courage to try different things and communication and cooperation with peers are extremely valuable ways to accumulate experience. By continuously learning lessons and translating them into practical action, you can achieve greater success in your career path.
My job responsibilities include communicating with customers, understanding their needs and proposing corresponding design solutions; research market trends and competitors to ensure that our products are competitive; work with different teams to complete projects and ensure quality.
As a designer, it is extremely essential to have certain characteristics and personal traits. First of all, a great designer should have creativity and imagination. They need to be able to continuously come up with fresh and distinct design ideas and be able to translate those ideas into actual work. Secondly, a proper aesthetic sense is also essential. Designers need to have a keen sense of color, shape, proportion, etc., in order to create works that meet aesthetic standards.
In addition, the ability to communicate is also one of the essential characteristics of a great designer. Effective communication with customers, team members, and other stakeholders ensures that the project runs smoothly and achieves the desired results. In addition, patience and meticulousness are also essential qualities for successful designers. When faced with complex projects, it takes a lot of time to perfect every detail and maintain a strong level of focus.
Finally, in the pursuit of excellence cannot be careless, great designers should have the pursuit of excellent quality and the work of the heart. Only by continuously learning and mastering current skills can we gain a firm foothold in the design field and achieve success.
In short, a successful designer should possess the characteristics and personal characteristics of creativity, aesthetic perception, communication ability, meticulousness and pursuit of excellence. Only with these qualities can we stand out in the fierce competition and achieve our brilliant career goals.

As a designer, I give back to the community that nurtured me by giving free design workshops. In these workshops, I will share my design experience and techniques to help people who are interested in learning design improve their skills. I also plan to work with local schools on art education programs to give young people further exposure to art and design. Through these initiatives, I hope to inspire more people to love design and inject more creativity and vitality into the community. And allow yourself to grow and improve in the process of giving back to the community.
I have always had great admiration for the unpaid work of designers or artists or architects involved in humanitarian projects, which makes the profession so glorious.
A great design can speak for itself, without too much explanation, and the public can understand and understand it.
When I participate in design events and conferences to support junior designers, I first make sure I am well informed about the latest trends and developments in the design industry. At events or conferences, I actively share my experience and knowledge, and encourage junior designers to dare to express their distinct ideas and creativity. At the same time, I will listen to their point of view and give constructive suggestions.
At design events, I normally offer some practical tips and methods to help junior designers better cope with challenges. For example, in project management, I might share some experience in time management or teamwork. In terms of creative thinking, I may introduce some ways to inspire, improve productivity, and so on.
In short, when it comes to supporting junior designers, my goal is to be a resource that they can trust and rely on. By sharing experiences, listening to needs, and giving guidance and encouragement, they are able to meet challenges with confidence and continue to grow and improve.

Design Legend Interview

Entrusted by a friend who has been engaged in the liquor distribution business for a long time, I had the honor to participate in the design of high-end liquor packaging with the aim of deeply interpreting and promoting traditional Chinese culture. The project aims to closely integrate the thousand-year treasure of Chinese liquor with the profound essence of traditional culture through packaging design. This will create a cultural symbol that highlights the quality of the liquor and resonates with consumers, ultimately enhancing the brand image and market competitiveness.
I obtained a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design from a well-known art institute in China. During my time in school, I systematically acquired interdisciplinary knowledge in areas such as graphic design, three-dimensional modeling, materials science, and consumer behavior. This helped me build a comprehensive and strong theoretical foundation for design.

The traditional Chinese culture, encompassing Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, serves as a wellspring of creative inspiration for me, enabling my artistic endeavors to delve deeper.

Influenced by my uncle when I was young, I became a designer due to my strong interest in art.

I chose to be a designer; it was not something I was forced into.

What I design is not important; what is crucial is the practical problems my design can solve for others.

Young designers need to enhance their proficiency in professional knowledge, practical experience, industry insight, innovative thinking, and other aspects through continuous efforts and investment. Only by doing so can we maintain a leading position in the rapidly changing design industry and create more influential and valuable design works.

In my opinion, the difference between a decent designer and a great designer is mainly reflected in several aspects. First of all, excellent designers pay attention to technology and practice, can skillfully use a variety of tools and software for design, and can perform creative expression according to customer needs. The great designers not only have excellent technical ability, but more importantly, they have profound cultural heritage and extensive knowledge reserve, and integrate the social, historical, humanistic and other aspects of thinking in their works.
Second, excellent designers generally focus only on the project themselves and strive to complete the task correctly. Great designers, on the other hand, are more concerned with overall impact and social value, conveying environmental, sustainable development, and human emotional and spiritual aspects in their work.
Finally, from a career development perspective, a great designer may only be successful in one field or for a certain period of time; great designers, on the other hand, tend to have a broader vision and a longer term plan, and can achieve outstanding achievements and have a profound impact in different fields.
In conclusion, in my opinion, "excellent" emphasizes professional skills and execution, while "great" encompasses additional macro and global factors.

Good design is not only dependent on a single standard but is a comprehensive reflection of many factors. Excellent designers will flexibly use and balance these evaluation criteria according to specific project objectives, audience characteristics, market environment, and other factors to create design works that meet functional requirements and are rich in innovation, humanistic care, and aesthetic value.

Excellent design is of great value to both individuals and society. First of all, excellent design can improve the quality of life. Whether it is home design, product design or urban planning, it can bring people a more pleasant, convenient and lovely living environment. Secondly, excellent design can improve work efficiency. In industrial production, excellent industrial design can make products easier to manufacture and use; in the office space, excellent spatial layout and equipment design can also improve the efficiency of employees.
In addition, investing in excellent design can also bring financial returns. Carefully built excellent products or services will usually be favored by the market, and get additional consumer recognition and support. Therefore, in the commercial field, it is also extremely necessary and practical to pay attention to the excellent design of product packaging, advertising and other aspects.
In conclusion, everyone should invest in excellent design, because it can not only improve our own quality of life and work efficiency, but also promote social and economic development. At the same time, in the process of pursuing excellent design, it is also necessary to respect the rights and interests of the original and abide by the law.

If there is time, I will design packaging for agricultural products for the vast group of Chinese farmers to help them solve their selling difficulties, as my parents are also farmers. I understand their challenges and aim to resolve them; this is what I should do.

The first dream project I want to realize is to redesign the brand I used when I was a child and pay tribute to the lovely memories of my childhood. Secondly, I want to do some brand design of agricultural products for farmers in rural areas, hoping that they can better sell their products, obtain profits, and exchange for a better life.

Read more, think more, do more.

Pan Hu, Xu Liaoyuan, Zhang Aihua, Deng Xiongbo

My favorite designers are Yuan Yanzai, Pan Hu, Deng Xiongbo, Zhang Aihua, etc. At the same time, I also work hard for them.

My best work is the Jinshanjianshui white spirit packaging. Firstly, its appearance design is relatively simple, following the principle of "the ultimate is simplicity". Secondly, it can evoke one's reflection on life cognition. Lastly, its design concept is unique. The main graphic is a perfect combination of the Chinese characters for "mountain" and "water", which is also a fusion of form and meaning, and a unified expression of the brand "Wei Dao" and the product name "Jinshanjianshui". You are me, and I am you. Wei Dao: seeing the mountain is not the mountain, seeing the water is not the water; with wisdom: seeing the mountain is still the mountain, seeing the water is still the water.

As a designer, it is extremely essential to improve your professional level. First of all, I will continue to learn and accumulate knowledge and skills in related fields, including the latest design software and fashion trends. Secondly, I will participate in further design competitions or exhibitions, so as to exercise my creativity and practical ability. In addition, it is also extremely beneficial to communicate with different designers. You can learn a lot of lessons and techniques from them. In addition, maintain attention to detail in your work, and continuously reflect on your work to try to do better in every project. Finally, it is necessary to maintain patience and perseverance, not to give up easily in the face of difficulties, and constantly maintain the enthusiasm for the design career.
These are the methods and experiences I have taken to improve myself as a better designer. Through continuous learning, practice and communication and cooperation with others, I believe my professional level will be further improved.

If I hadn't become a designer, I might have chosen to work in marketing or creative planning. In this career, I can give full play to my imagination and creativity, promote products or services in various ways, and cooperate with people in different fields to gain more inspiration and experience. At the same time, there is also a lot of room for development in the field of marketing and creative planning, and you can continuously learn new knowledge, master different skills, and improve your professional level.
Also, if I didn't become a designer, I might consider starting a tiny business or going freelance. In this way, you can arrange your time and work content more flexibly, and you can completely develop your talents and potential. Although there may be additional risks and challenges on this road, there will also be additional opportunities and gains.
In short, in any industry, you need to work tough to achieve your goals, and to remain confident and look forward to the future. No matter which path we choose, we must go on resolutely at every stage and continue to accumulate experience and improve our ability.

Design is a kind of creative activity, which involves the analysis of problems, the proposal of solutions and the realization process. In my understanding, design is not limited to the field of aesthetics or art. It is more about the method and process of how to meet specific needs and achieve specific goals.
First of all, design requires a deep analysis and understanding of the problem. This means understanding the reasons behind the problem, the factors that affect it, and the needs and expectations of the stakeholders involved. Second, the design needs to come up with innovative and workable solutions. This may involve technical, material, process and other considerations, and requires a combination of factors to find the best solution. Finally, design also includes the process of turning ideas into reality, where effective communication and teamwork are crucial.
To sum up, for me, design is a systematic and creative process in which analysis, thinking and practice are used to find the best solution to meet a specific need. Whether it is a product, service or experience, design thinking can be applied to improve and innovate.

First, my family, who have always supported me with unconditional love and encouragement. Secondly, my teachers and mentors have given me valuable guidance and advice in my studies and work. In addition, there are numerous friends and colleagues who accompany me in life and progress together.
In general, there is no one who is my biggest supporter, but numerous people together constitute my growth path. Everyone has given me strength and inspiration at different times and helped me when I was in trouble. Therefore, I am grateful to all the people around me who have helped me, and I am willing to pass on this gratitude.

As a designer, I think being a great designer requires constant learning and experience. First of all, the mastery of professional knowledge is extremely essential, only in-depth understanding of design theory and technology can make excellent works. Secondly, the source of inspiration is also crucial, and further observation and thinking can make you have more creative ideas. In addition, continuously summing up experience and lessons in practice, and the courage to try different ideas are also essential qualities to grow into a great designer. Finally, communication and cooperation with peers can also inspire themselves to better improve. Sorry, I'm not a great designer yet, but I hope to be one someday.

Before that, the main obstacles I encountered were a lack of experience and skills. As a beginner, I frequently felt lost and helpless, not knowing how to genuinely grow into a great designer. At the same time, the fierce competition in the market also made me feel stressed and worried that I would not be able to stand out.
However, in the face of these difficulties, I realized that only continuous learning and practice can break through my limitations. Thus I began to actively seek guidance from mentors and attend various training courses to improve my professional skills. Through unremitting efforts and perseverance, these obstacles were eventually overcome.
To sum up, it takes patience and perseverance to face challenges, and to meet them bravely. Only by continually overcoming difficulties and having firm faith can we succeed in the end.

As a designer, showing your work is extremely valuable. First, designers should choose the right platform to display their work, such as personal websites, social media or professional design exhibitions. Secondly, the work display needs to have clear and attractive pictures and text descriptions, so that the audience can quickly understand the design concept and creative inspiration. In addition, designers should also pay attention to interaction with the audience. In the exhibition they can share their design ideas, technical methods and industry insights, so as to increase the attractiveness and influence of the work. Finally, in the process of exhibition, we should keep a humble and open mind, accept feedback and suggestions from different audiences, and continuously improve our design level and expression ability.

My next project is to design a tea packaging, which is still in design and will be shared with you soon.

As a designer, my ultimate goal is to continuously improve my design level and creativity and become a leader in the industry. I hope to influence more people through my design works, so that they can feel the power of combining beauty and practicality. At the same time, I also hope to achieve certain achievements in the field of design and make positive contributions to society. In my opinion, an excellent designer should have keen observation, innovative thinking and teamwork spirit, and continuously improve himself in continuous learning and practice, and finally realize the unity of personal value and social value.

First of all, they wanted me to have a wealth of design experience and expertise, and to be able to provide them with top-quality design solutions. Secondly, they expect me to be creative and imaginative, to be able to give them fresh and distinct design ideas. In addition, I am expected to be a great communicator and a team player who can effectively communicate ideas and coordinate interests when working with clients and teams. In short, I am expected to excel not only in professional skills, but also in communication and coordination.

First, designers can aim to create more humane and sustainable urban planning and architectural design. By taking into account the needs and lifestyles of residents, we can create more pleasant, accessible and environmentally friendly urban spaces that enhance people's quality of life.
Secondly, designers can also play a role in product design. We can promote the use of renewable materials and energy-saving technologies, and focus on the functionality and beauty of products. This not only helps to reduce resource waste and environmental pollution, but also allows people to enjoy a higher quality of life experience.
In addition, in the field of media and visual arts, designers play an essential role. We can convey positive and energetic information to the public through film and television works, print advertisements and other forms, guide people to establish correct values and stimulate positive social energy.
All in all, as a designer, I feel a great responsibility in my daily work. A better, more livable, more inclusive and sustainable society can only be achieved by continually pursuing innovation and progress and integrating social responsibility into everything we do.

At the moment, I am excited to work on a different project. This project is all about market research and product development, and I'm very excited about the challenges and opportunities. In this project, I need to work with a team to collect data, analyze market trends, and come up with innovative solutions. It makes me feel motivated and enthusiastic.
On top of that, I'm learning a different skill or participating in a fun activity. By continually learning and trying different things, my life becomes more colorful. Whether it is the challenge of work or the exploration of personal growth, it makes me feel extremely excited.

In the packaging design project I have participated in, there is a case that makes me extremely satisfied. This project is for a top-end tea packaging design. I think it impresses people mainly for the following reasons.
First of all, the tea packaging design uses exquisite visual elements and high-quality materials, making the overall appearance extremely attractive. Secondly, the traditional cultural elements are integrated into the packaging, and the innovative interpretation is combined with modern design techniques, which not only highlights the charm of traditional Chinese culture, but also shows the sense of fashion and quality. In addition, detailed product information and production process are also indicated on the packaging, providing consumers with a comprehensive and professional reference.
In general, this tea packaging design not only gives people a pleasant feeling visually, but more importantly, it has won my favor through its exquisite production process and unique cultural connotation. I hope I can participate in more similar projects with high level, excellent taste, cultural heritage and creative challenges in the future.

The design industry is a continuously developing and changing field. With the progress of science and technology and changes in social needs, the design industry is also continuously adjusting and innovating. In the coming years, I hope to see some positive changes in the design industry.
First, I hope that the design industry will pay extra attention to sustainability and environmental protection. As global environmental problems become more serious, designers should focus on developing more environmentally friendly, energy efficient and recyclable products and solutions to contribute to the health of the planet.
Second, I would like to see the design industry more closely integrated with technology. With the continuous emergence of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, designers can use these technologies to create more forward-looking and innovative works, and achieve breakthroughs in product features and user experience.
In addition, I also look forward to seeing the design education model reformed and improved. Fostering excellent design talent with an international perspective, interdisciplinary thinking and innovative spirit is crucial to driving the industry forward.
In short, in the coming years, I look forward to seeing the design industry make great strides in sustainable development, technological integration and talent cultivation, and make even greater contributions to the progress of society.

In the current development of the design field, I think the next critical direction is sustainability and environmental protection. With increasing environmental concerns, designers need to think more about the life-cycle impact of products and buildings, and seek more environmentally friendly and sustainable materials and technologies. In addition, digital design will also become an essential direction of future development, including virtual reality, augmented reality and other modern technologies, will bring different possibilities to design. At the same time, in the context of the continuous progress of smart technology, smart home, smart city and other fields will also become a hot spot of design innovation. In short, the design field of the future will be more environmentally sustainable and closely integrated with technology to meet the growing needs of people.

The first thing to consider is the complexity and size of the product. Typically, the design of a small product can take several months to a year to complete. For large, complex products, development and testing can take longer. In addition, factors such as the number of team members, technical level, and project management ability need to be considered. In short, when designing a product, it is necessary to carefully evaluate the various factors and rationally schedule the time to ensure the quality and efficiency of the final product.

When I have a recent design project, I normally start by gathering information. This includes communicating needs and objectives with customers, researching market trends and analyzing competitors. Next comes the brainstorming phase, where I try out different ideas and concepts and write them down. Then I do preliminary sketches and prototypes to better showcase my design ideas. It is also essential to work closely with team members throughout the process, who can provide valuable feedback and help refine the design. Finally, before determining the final plan, I will make several modifications and improvements to ensure that the customer's expectations are met and the project requirements are met.

As a designer, my life motto is "creativity unlimited, the pursuit of excellence". On the road of design, I understand that only by continually challenging myself, learning and exploring can I continuously break through my limitations and achieve a higher level of design works. At the same time, we must maintain a humble and tenacious attitude in our work, and have the courage to face difficulties and challenges. Only in this way can we become excellent designers and achieve greater achievements.

There is a mutual influence relationship between design and trend. On the one hand, design determines the trend because design, as an innovation and leading force, can lead the development direction of the market and society by continuously innovating and breaking through the tradition. For example, the design of scientific and technological products can modify people's lifestyle and consumption habits, thus affecting the development direction of the entire industrial chain. On the other hand, the trend also determines the design, in a specific period or a specific environment, some social, economic, cultural and other factors will form the trend and trend. These trends will directly affect the design style, concept and product demand.
In general, there is no absolute "design determines the trend" or "trend determines the design", and the relationship between the two is mutual interaction and mutual influence. In the actual work, we need to flexibly use the relationship between the two according to the specific situation, and carry out innovative thinking and practice on the basis of grasping the market demand and user psychology.

Technology plays a crucial role in design. First, technology provides additional possibilities and innovation space for design. Through the application of technology, designers can achieve more complex and refined works to meet the growing needs of users. Secondly, technology also provides better efficiency and reliability for design. For example, in product design, the use of advanced manufacturing processes and materials can considerably improve product quality and production efficiency.
In addition, technology can alter the way people think about design and drive the industry forward. With the continuous progress of science and technology, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality have begun to penetrate into various fields, and have made subversive changes to traditional design methods.
In short, in today's society, technology has become an integral part and plays a crucial role in design. Only by keeping up with the trend of The Times and being good at using various emerging scientific and technological means can we create more excellent and competitive works.

In my work, I normally use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Coreldraw, C4D and other software to design on desktop computers.

In design, color, materials and environment all play a crucial role. First of all, color can affect people's emotions and psychological states, and different colors will bring different feelings to people. Therefore, it is extremely crucial to choose the right color in the design. Secondly, materials also have a profound impact on the design. Different materials have different textures and characteristics, which can add colorful elements to the design. Finally, the environment is also an essential consideration, especially in interior design. Rational use of environmental resources can enhance the overall space atmosphere and integrate with nature.
In short, giving full play to the role of color, materials and environment in the design process will make the work more outstanding and attractive.

First, I want people to ask specific questions about my design, such as why did I choose this style, color or material? Or it's about the source of inspiration behind the design and the creative process. In addition, I am also extremely willing to hear people's constructive comments and criticisms on my design, because it can help me continuously improve and perfect my design concept and technical level. All in all, I look forward to engaging in deeper and more relevant exchanges with all of you and am open to feedback in all its forms.

What comes to mind when you see a fresh great design or product?
For me, I think of innovation and technology first. A great design or product frequently represents the effort and wisdom of the team, who, through continuous exploration and practice, finally present such a stunning work. Secondly, I will think about its impact on life, work and even the whole society. A great design or product can usually improve people's quality of life, increase efficiency, and promote social progress. Therefore, when I see a great modern design or product, I constantly marvel at the endless human intelligence and creativity.

In today's fast-paced society, the design industry is also changing rapidly. As a designer, finding the ideal design partner is crucial to the job. First of all, I think the ideal design partner should have excellent communication skills and team spirit. He/she needs to be able to express his/her ideas precisely and be willing to listen to the suggestions and opinions of others. Secondly, creativity and professional knowledge are also qualities I value. A great design partner should have a unique and creative way of thinking, and have solid professional skills.
As for whether I believe in co-design, my answer is yes. Collaborative design allows like-minded people from different fields, backgrounds and experience levels to participate in projects and share their views and resources, forming a more complete, diversified and comprehensive solution in the process.
In short, ideally, my partner should be a person with excellent communication skills, teamwork spirit, creativity and professional knowledge; at the same time, I firmly believe that collaborative design can bring us further inspiration and opportunities.

Who are the most influential people in your design?
Throughout my design career, there have been numerous people who have had a significant impact on my design. First of all, my teachers and mentors taught me professional knowledge and skills, and gave me a lot of valuable advice and guidance. Secondly, there are some excellent designers and artists whose works inspire me and make me continuously pursue a higher level of design. In addition, communication with customers, colleagues and partners has also had a profound impact on my design, and I have learned a lot of practical experience and teamwork spirit.
In addition, various cultures, styles and histories that I have come into contact with in daily life have also influenced my design ideas imperceptibly. All in all, in this era of information explosion, various elements from the professional field or daily life may become our inspiration.
Every person or thing can influence us, but ultimately how to integrate these factors into their own unique creativity is up to the individual's ability and effort.

In my design career, there is one book that has had a profound impact on me. The book is The Psychology of Design. Through reading this book, I have a deep understanding of people's psychological and behavioral characteristics when facing different designs. Through a wealth of cases and experimental data, the author reveals the hidden laws behind human cognition, emotion and behavior, which makes me think more deeply about how to apply these laws to my design work.
This book not only helped me improve my UX design skills, but also inspired me to think about the balance between product functionality and aesthetics. It made me understand that in any design work, it is necessary to stand on the user's point of view, and pay attention to details and the integration of the whole. As a result, The Psychology of Design has become one of the indispensable guides to my career.

First of all, I will continually learn and master modern design software and tools to keep pace with the development of the industry. Secondly, I will pay attention to the fashion trend and market demand, and continuously improve my aesthetic vision and creative ability. At the same time, participating in various design competitions, exhibitions and lectures is also one of the ways to improve my skills.
In addition, in daily work, it is also essential to exchange experience with peers. By collaborating with other designers or participating in related industry events, you can broaden your horizons, learn from others' strengths, and get feedback to improve your own design.
In addition, it is also extremely essential to gain experience in real projects. Summarize the experience and lessons in practice, and adjust their direction and methods in time.
All in all, developing the skills you need as a designer takes a lot of consideration and requires continuous efforts to improve.

Who do you want to meet, talk, and discuss, regardless of time or space?
Regardless of time and space, if I could meet, talk, and discuss with anyone, I would choose to have a dialogue with a scholar or thinker of superior wisdom and profound insight. Such people frequently give me fresh ideas and thoughts that help me understand the world and myself better.
In this exchange, I will ask him questions about life, society, science and other aspects. By talking with him, I hope to broaden my horizons, learn more about unknown areas, and gain valuable experience and wisdom from him.
There is no limit to my desire in anyplace, past or present. Therefore, in this virtual scene, I can talk freely and draw inspiration from the other person's abundant knowledge base.

How do you feel about all the awards and recognition you've received? Is it difficult to be famous?
The awards and recognition they have received are an affirmation of their efforts and efforts. These honors represent not only individual ability and achievement, but also recognition and support for the team, organization and family. Every time I win an award, I feel extremely pleased and proud.
In the process of pursuing awards and recognition, I profoundly understand the truth that "fame is difficult". Achieving outstanding results is not easy and requires a lot of time, energy and sweat. At the same time, standing out in a competitive environment is also difficult. But it is this kind of pressure and challenge that inspires my fighting spirit and motivation, so that I continue to surpass myself and pursue excellence.
However, "fame" is not the only goal. "Fame and wealth" is essential, but more vital is true inner satisfaction and happiness. Behind the pursuit of honor, we should pay extra attention to the improvement of personal cultivation, moral cultivation and social responsibility.
In a word, I will cherish awards and recognition and regard them as a source of continuous progress and improvement on the road ahead. At the same time, I hope that through my own experience, I can inspire others to go forward, dare to pursue their dreams, and forever remain humble and persevering.

My favorite color is blue, because it gives people a fresh, peaceful feeling. My favorite place is the beach, because I can relax there and enjoy the beauty of nature. As for food, I love Hunan food best among Chinese food, because it is extremely spicy, expensive in taste and sweet in flavor. My favorite season is spring, because everything is fresh and full of life then. As for things, I prefer reading best, because reading can broaden my vision and enrich my knowledge. In terms of brands, I prefer traditional Chinese brands, whose product design has a sense of The Times and the quality is reliable.
In short, we all have our own favorite things and brands in life, and we should make choices and judgments according to our actual needs in the selection.

Remember in my childhood, my uncle took me to herd cattle, leisure, my uncle with clay knead a buffalo sculpture, the buffalo sculpture is extremely lovely, I like it very much, but my uncle hid the buffalo sculpture, do not let me play, he worried that I broke it, finally one day, my uncle is not at home, I secretly ran to his bed, take out the buffalo clay sculpture, Because I like it so much, I hold it in my arms when I sleep, but it was accidentally crushed by me. Later, my uncle knew about this matter, and he did not blame me, but taught me that it is not acceptable behavior to take other people's items without the consent of others. We can't do that anymore. Although it has been more than 30 years, every time I recall this incident, I have mixed feelings. It was my uncle's behavior that enlightened my youthful heart, aroused my pursuit of beauty and art, and thus made me more determined on the road I am taking today. Whenever I am confused and encounter setbacks, I will recall this story, which has taught me not to forget my original heart. All the way.

First, I like to take the time to think and plan my project before I start work in the morning. This quiet time allows me to brainstorm distinctly and find inspiration. Then, when I saw the results of my design gradually emerged, the sense of accomplishment was indescribable. Whether it is the perfect presentation of a minor detail or the successful implementation of the overall design scheme, it will give me great satisfaction.
Working with a client or team is also one of the things that makes my day great. Develop better ideas and solutions through constant adjustment and improvement through communication and collaboration with others. Finally, looking back at my progress and achievements at the end of a busy and challenging day is also a great motivator.
When it comes to how I motivate myself, I normally set clear goals and make actionable plans to reach those goals. In addition, I will continue to learn current knowledge, pay attention to industry trends and participate in related activities to maintain my passion for the design field and improve my professional level.
All in all, as a designer, having fun with creativity, exploring and implementing different ideas with others, and continuously striving for progress is what makes every day great for me!

When I was a kid, I was passionate and curious about design. Whenever I see a lovely card, toy, container, or sign, I can't help but stop and look at it, and try to imitate it. But since then, my parents have recognized my talent and started to support my design dreams.
As I grew older, my interests became more focused and deeper. Whether it is in the school to decorate the classroom or in my own room, it has become my pleasure. Gradually, there is a difference among peers - they will ask, "How do you know this looks better?" "Or" How can you match the colors so correctly?"
Until today, when I look back on my experience as a successful designer, I find that the seeds of my future as a designer have been planted in my childhood.

What do you think about the future? What do you see happening a thousand years from now?
The future is an era full of unknown and variable. With the continuous development of science and technology and the progress of human civilization, we have a variety of imaginations for the future. What's going to happen a thousand years from now? This question is undoubtedly a challenging and mysterious proposition.
First, from the perspective of science and technology, a thousand years from now, there may be numerous different technological products and applications that we can not imagine. Possibly humans have achieved space travel, time travel, or other things beyond imagination. At the same time, great breakthroughs will also be made in the fields of medicine, environmental protection and energy utilization.
Second, the structure of society is likely to alter dramatically. With the acceleration of globalization, the pattern of international relations may become more complex and volatile. And because of the unequal distribution of resources, social stratification is more serious.
Finally, in terms of cultural inheritance, although a thousand years is sufficient for numerous things to alter drastically, it is believed that people still have resonance with wonderful things and values, and these things will be passed on.
In short, there is no standard answer to the question "What will happen a thousand years from now?" Only by continuously exploring and innovating, and valuing what we have now, can we meet the challenges and opportunities that the unknown future brings to all of us.

Tell us what you want your fans to learn about you, your designs and what else?
In this post, I want to share with my fans some thoughts on my design philosophy and other aspects. First of all, I want my fans to understand my love and dedication to design. Whether it is graphic or product design, I hope to convey the idea of beauty and utility through my work.
Second, I want my fans to understand where my inspiration comes from. Occasionally inspiration comes from the tiny details of life, other times it comes from nature or works of art. These inspirations will be integrated into my design and become the distinct features of my work.
In addition to this, I also want my fans to understand that while pursuing personalization and innovation, I also pay great attention to product quality and user experience. Because only quality products can win the trust of consumers and stay in their hearts for a long time.
Finally, in the future, in addition to continuously improving my skills in the design field, I will also pay more attention to the concept of sustainable development and environmental protection, and integrate these values into my design.
All in all, in the future creation process, please support and pay attention to my works, and look forward to more fresh, unique and practical designs!

Designer Interview

11 May 2024

Influenced by my uncle when I was young, I developed a strong interest in art. My passion for art has shaped my interests and hobbies, ultimately leading me to where I am today.

At present, the studio is still under construction and has not found a satisfactory partner for the time being.

Design is a creative process that involves transforming ideas, plans, and concepts into tangible products, systems, or workflows. This process usually includes steps such as research, conceptualization, prototyping, testing, and implementation. Designers need to consider user needs, functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. Design can be applied to a variety of fields, including industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, architectural design, interface design, and interaction design. Design is not only about appearance; it is more important to solve problems, improve user experience, and meet user needs.

I particularly enjoy designing projects that incorporate unique regional cultures. This enhances my curiosity and ignites a strong desire to explore them further. To understand its cultural background and history

My favorite design is one that is unexpected yet practical. Good design aims to achieve the ultimate goal within the theme, and the process in between is challenging. It requires repeated revisions, patience, time, and mental stamina. At the same time, it is sometimes necessary to return to the starting point and reconsider the original design intention, similar to a piece of art created for people to appreciate and use. Designed products can interact with people and create a joyful atmosphere. I believe this is a good design, and I personally appreciate it.

The first project I designed for the company was a shoebox featuring an imperial design style inspired by traditional Chinese aesthetics. The colors of blue, bright yellow, and earthy yellow are reminiscent of the imperial style of China's Qing Dynasty, emphasizing the nobility of the shoes.

My favorite materials include various special papers, environmentally friendly materials, natural textures, and petal materials. I enjoy designing websites using techniques such as hot pressing, digital printing, digital hot stamping, UV processing, engraving, three-dimensional molding, screen printing, gold plating, flower baking, injection molding, and die cutting.

I find that I am most creative after drinking black tea during the day.

First of all, I will focus on the basic functionality of the product.

Secondly, it is important to consider whether the design can meet people's emotional needs, their experiences, and satisfaction with the product.

Finally, it is important to consider whether the design can mitigate environmental damage.

When I design, I consider the perspective of consumers or users and conduct market research to determine the direction and goals of the design. This is important because it is not just artwork; empathy is crucial, and this can enhance sales.

When my design is realized, I am very happy to see it being recognized by customers, and all the efforts are worthwhile. While earning money, I also gain recognition of my own abilities. The design that is recognized and produced is like my own child, with the hope that it can be recognized by most people. This is the biggest reward for me

Like plus action equals success

Design is the process of creating beauty, and to judge the quality of a design, not only needs aesthetic vision, but also needs professional standards. When evaluating a design, I first look at its functionality, which is the foundation of the design. A good design must be able to meet the actual needs of users and achieve its established functional goals.

Next, I look at how innovative the design is. Good design can often break through the routine and bring people freshness and surprise. This innovation can be formal, it can be content, or even the subversion of traditional ideas.
Then, I think about the beauty of the design. Beauty is subjective, but there are rules. I will evaluate whether the design is harmonious and in line with aesthetic principles from the aspects of color matching, shape and line, space layout, etc.
I will focus on sustainability of design. Good design should respect the environment, reduce the consumption of resources as much as possible, and achieve sustainable development of economy, society and environment.
I think a good design should be functional, innovative, beautiful and sustainable. These four aspects are my basic judgment criteria for good or bad design, and they are also the goals I have been pursuing in my design practice.

First, designers need to be socially responsible. This is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1. Promote cultural exchange and diversity: Designers communicate information and values through design language and have the responsibility to respect and promote communication and understanding between different cultures to avoid cultural conflicts and misunderstandings.

2. More convenient and inclusive products and services through design.

3. Enhancing the public aesthetic level: Designers bear the responsibility of guiding and improving the public aesthetic level, thereby fostering the healthy development of social culture.

Secondly, designers need to take responsibility for the environment. This is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1. Promote the concept of sustainable development: Designers should prioritize environmental protection and sustainable development by utilizing renewable resources and environmentally friendly materials whenever possible, and by minimizing environmental pollution during the production process.

2. Minimize Resource Wastage: Designers should optimize designs to reduce resource wastage during the production, use, and disposal processes of the product, and prolong the product's service life.

3. Enhancing Energy Efficiency: Designers should prioritize energy efficiency by aiming to minimize energy consumption and carbon emissions when planning buildings, residences, and transportation systems.

In short, designers need to recognize and take responsibility for the social and environmental impact of their design actions. By focusing on social issues, promoting sustainability, and improving energy efficiency, designers can contribute to a better and more harmonious society and environment.

The evolution of the design field can be described as dramatic, from the most basic graphic design to today's virtual reality and interactive experiences, designers are constantly exploring and innovating. The essence of design has never changed, it has always been to solve problems and improve people's lives. However, as technology advances, designers have more tools and platforms to achieve this goal. For example, designers can now use AI and big data for precise user research, as well as VR and AR technologies to provide more immersive experiences.

For the future design, I believe that with the development of 5G, AI, big data and other technologies, the design will be more intelligent and personalized. Designers of the future may no longer need to draw by hand or use complex design software, but will only need to complete the design through simple programming or direct dialogue with AI. In addition, design will also be more interdisciplinary, and designers will need to have more knowledge and skills, such as programming, data analysis, psychology, etc. This change brings us more possibilities.

My last design exhibition was in China, and the next exhibition is expected to be abroad

The design inspiration of my work comes from Chinese Zen culture, which integrates Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism cultures

To cultivate creativity, we must first dare to challenge the status quo, not be afraid of difficulties, and have the courage to try new things. In this way, we can learn from failure and constantly optimize our way of thinking. Secondly, read more books and observe more, expand the knowledge horizon, enrich the mind, and provide more materials for innovative thinking. Finally, keep a positive and optimistic attitude, believe that you have the ability to solve problems and have the courage to face challenges.

My inspiration comes from a passage said by Koshinobu Ahara, a Zen master in the Tang Dynasty in ancient China. Seeing mountains is mountains, seeing water is water, seeing mountains is not mountains, seeing water is not water, and finally seeing mountains is still mountains, and seeing water is still water, the sublimation of people's thought and cognition has deeply touched my infinite association of design works, thus promoting the birth of this work

I have chosen Zen minimalism as my design style.

Out of my love for Chinese traditional culture and history, I am immersed in exploring the possibilities of design. In the process of discovery and learning, you will be amazed by the profound wisdom of the ancients. This wisdom has the potential to transform your way of thinking, your way of life, and even your values. It can also help you navigate relationships among individuals, between people and objects, between individuals and nature, and between humans and the environment.

The primary goal of this work is to enhance individuals' mental cognition through product design, promoting awareness and improvement. It aims to evoke the positive connotations of cultural charm, transcending national borders. This positive artistic concept enables more individuals to comprehend Zen wisdom and derive benefits from it.

My design methodology involves collecting and studying traditional Zen culture, understanding it, exploring the relationship between culture and design themes and brands, and making breakthroughs in mindset and thinking. This approach allows for better execution of design, distinguishing it from the design of other products.

I live in Changsha, Hunan Province, China

As a Chinese individual who deeply appreciates traditional culture, I am profoundly influenced by Chinese traditional values. Therefore, my designs are inevitably imbued with elements of this rich cultural heritage.

I believe that a design inspired by ancient wisdom can gain more recognition worldwide, much like the saying "all roads lead to Rome," which is globally known.

As a designer, working with companies is extremely essential. First, I will communicate with the company leader or project manager to understand their design needs and expectations. Then, I will try my best to combine my design concept with the company's brand image, and thoroughly consider the product features and user experience. During the whole cooperation process, I will maintain excellent communication and coordination ability, timely feedback on the progress and accept suggestions. At the same time, when I encounter problems or challenges, I will actively seek solutions and work together with the team to ensure the smooth completion of the project.
In addition, in the process of working with the company, I also learned how to balance my own creative ideas with the needs of clients. Occasionally compromises need to be made to meet client requirements, but also to ensure that you do not lose your unique design style and creative thinking. Through these collaborative experiences, I gradually improved my skills in playing a role in a team, solving problems, and driving projects forward.
All in all, through continuous cooperation with companies, I understand that teamwork, communication and flexibility are essential skills for a successful designer. These experiences have made me look at work more maturely, and I am willing to continue to learn and improve my performance in the workplace.

In terms of cooperation between companies and designers, I think the first thing to be clear is the cooperation goals and needs of both sides. Companies should be clear about the type of design services they need and the expected results, and designers need to understand the company's brand positioning, market positioning and target group. Only when the two sides have precisely defined the goals and needs of cooperation can they cooperate better.
Secondly, for the selection of excellent designers, the company can consider the following points: First, the professional ability and experience of the designer. An excellent designer should have valuable industry experience, creative thinking and solid aesthetic concepts; the second is the ability to understand the project and communicate. A great designer should be able to thoroughly understand the needs of the company and maintain excellent communication with the company team; finally, work attitude and responsibility. A designer who is responsible, patient and willing to communicate will make the collaborative process much easier.
In addition, when working with designers, I recommend that companies pay attention to the protection of intellectual property rights and sign detailed contract terms. At the same time, close contact should be maintained in the process of project advancement, and timely deal with 馩 problems or adjust the plan.
In short, when choosing a great designer and working with it successfully, both parties need to respect each other completely, be honest with each other, and constantly put the achievement of the common goal first. Only in this way can we get twice the result with half the effort.

Packaging design is a genuinely crucial link. It is directly related to the competitiveness of the product in the market and in sales. When designing a package, I normally follow the following process:
1. Identifying Needs: First, it is necessary to clarify the customer's needs and requirements for product packaging and understand the product characteristics, target audience and market positioning information.
2. Market research: By analyzing competing products and understanding market trends, we can better grasp consumer preferences and the direction of the industry and provide a reference for subsequent design.
3. Creative conception: Based on customer needs and market research results, start the creative conception phase. At this stage, we need to give full play to our imagination and propose a variety of possible solutions based on the actual situation.
4. Design sketch: After selecting a few creative schemes that have the most potential, start making preliminary design sketches. This phase requires full communication with the customer and continuous revision and improvement of the design scheme.
5. 3D effects drawing production; after determining the final design scheme, professional software was used to produce 3-D renderings to show the appearance of the packaging effect through 3-D presentation and to more precisely simulate the actual use of the month.
6. Sample production and validation: Transforming 3D renderings into samples. In this process, it is necessary to continuously revise and improve until customer requirements are met.
7. Production document output: After sample confirmation, it is necessary to output the documents needed for production, including printed manuscripts, process instructions, etc., and deliver them to the manufacturer.

Packaging for Yongshun berry tea/Jieou coffee dynamic QR code design/two-color fish head chopped pepper packaging/Good sixiang mushroom sauce/Happy bird's nest packaging

It was a full, busy day. After rising in the morning, I performed my morning exercises according to plan, and found my body extremely relaxed and energetic. At work, I faced some challenges and difficulties, but through hard work and focus, I was able to solve them. After work, I spend time with my family, which makes me feel extremely cheerful and fulfilled.
With today's experience, I understand profoundly that life will always have its share of challenges and difficulties, and to deal with them with optimism and steadfastness in the face of them; At the same time, learn to enjoy the great moments in life and cherish every moment with family and friends..Only by continuing to work hard, facing life's problems head-on, and being kind to yourself and others, can we live a full and happy life.
Thus, "Do things sincerely and responsibly, be optimistic", "spend more time with family and friends", "enjoy the moment"

For future junior designers, I would like to share some insights. Firstly, we should continue to learn and improve our professional skills. The design industry is a constantly evolving and changing field, and only by continuing to learn and advance can you keep up with Times trends and gain more opportunities.

The Golden Rule of design is a deeply influential principle that can be applied in various fields and aspects. The Golden Rule of design, as I understand it, includes respect, fairness and care. First, we need to respect the opinions and rights of others and learn to listen to and respect each other's points of view when dealing with others. Secondly, fairness is also extremely crucial, both in work and in life, and everyone should be treated reasonably and without taking sides. Finally, care, consideration for the feelings of others in the conduct of affairs, and due attention.
By following these principles, I find myself able to communicate and get along better with others. At work, I was able to better coordinate team work; I've also been able to build stronger relationships throughout my life.... At the same time, he was objective and fair in his approach to issues.
in summary, the Golden Rule of design provides us with a guiding principle for getting along and dealing with business. True success and happiness can only be achieved when we respect, treat others reasonably, and care for them.

Skills are what matter most to designers.
In today's competitive design industry, designers need to possess a set of key skills to stand out. First, creativity is one of the most basic qualities of a designer. Only constant brainstorming and inspiration can produce a work that shines. Secondly, communication skills are also crucial. Effective communication and collaboration with customers, team members and additional stakeholders is key to successful project completion.
In addition, technical proficiency is one of the indispensable skills. Mastering a variety of design software and tools, as well as being aware of the latest technology trends, will help increase productivity and maintain a competitive edge. In addition, efforts should be made in time management. Rational scheduling of time and efficient execution of tasks will make the work flow more smoothly.
In addition to the key skills mentioned above, a great sense of aesthetics and sensitivity to market trends are also required. As times shift and consumer tastes diversify, keeping up with market dynamics and continuously learning and updating your knowledge will keep you at the forefront of the industry.
All in all, in this quick-paced, challenging, but limitless era of opportunity, it is essential to have a fully developed, multi-dimensional self-improvement awareness as a designer, and to improve your skills through continuous learning and practice.

In packaging design, the use of a variety of tools can help designers do their job better. I have a lot of different software, apps, hardware, and books in my toolbox that have all played an essential role in my packaging design.
First of all, in terms of software, the Adobe family of software is one of my most used tools. Photoshop and Illustrator, in particular, help me with image processing and vector drawing. In addition, I frequently use 3D modeling software to create three-dimensional packaging designs.
Secondly, in terms of application, the mobile phone has installed some convenient design applications, such as color matching, font selection and other auxiliary tools. These apps provide inspiration for my designs and make the entire creative process more efficient.
In addition, in terms of hardware, I will use a professional drawing board for hand-sketching, and have a computer with stable performance and a high-resolution monitor to display my design results.
In addition, in terms of books and sources of inspiration, I will read some books on the theory and practical experience of packaging design, and get inspiration by observing other excellent packaging works in the market.
All in all, the use of these various tools in packaging design can help us better achieve creative ideas, visual presentation and technical realization. These tools not only enhance our own professional level, but also provide customers with better quality and more in line with market demand product packaging solutions.

Experience of managing design time:
When managing my design time, I find it extremely vital to have a clear plan. First, I will list all the tasks that need to be done and rank them by priority. Then, I set reasonable time limits for each task to ensure that the work is done efficiently. In addition, I also leave some flexible time to deal with emergencies or adjust plans.
In addition, I realized that staying focused is crucial to productivity. During work, I try to avoid distractions, turn off phone notifications and social media, and focus on completing tasks within the allotted time.
Finally, in the process of managing design time, it is also essential to summarize the experience in a timely manner. By reflecting on the problems and solutions encountered in their work, and continuously improving their work style and skills.
All in all, I have gained some experience in managing my design time: clear goals, stay focused, summarize in time and continuously improve myself. These methods help me make better use of my time and increase my productivity.

As a designer, you are frequently faced with some common problems, such as improving your creative ability, effectively communicating with clients, and coping with work stress. In practice, I found some experience. First of all, to improve creative ability requires constant observation and thinking, and actively acquiring current knowledge. Secondly, when communicating with customers, it is essential to listen and understand their needs, and to articulate their ideas and suggestions. In addition, in the face of work pressure, it is extremely essential to arrange time reasonably, maintain excellent living habits and learn to release pressure appropriately. In short, I have accumulated a lot of experience and lessons in my daily work, and I have made continuous progress through reflection on practice.

My most significant work experience was as a project manager in a multinational company. This experience has had a profound impact on my career development.
First of all, I learned teamwork and leadership skills in this position. Since the project involves team members from multiple departments and different countries, I need to communicate and coordinate with all parties to ensure the smooth progress of the project. Through this work experience, I learned how to manage a team effectively and developed my ability to solve problems and cope with challenges.
Secondly, this work experience has exposed me to an international business environment. Working with people from different cultural backgrounds has made me more open and inclusive, and more relaxed in dealing with cross-cultural communication. At the same time, it also gave me a deeper understanding of global business operations.
Finally, in this job, I also gained a wealth of industry knowledge and professional skills. By participating in various complex projects, my professional knowledge has been continuously improved and I have accumulated a lot of practical experience.
All in all, this work experience has had a great impact on my career development and laid a solid foundation for my future.

Small and medium enterprises, distributors, factories

Design work is a job that requires creativity and imagination, and my favorite type of design is graphic design. Graphic design is an art form that conveys information and expresses meaning through elements such as images, words and colors. I like this type of design work because it allows me to use unlimited imagination in a limited space and attract people's attention through concise and clear visual effects.
When it comes to graphic design, I prefer to try different styles and techniques, such as illustration, typography, poster design, etc. Each style can bring different feelings and experiences to people, and this is exactly what I strive for - to touch others with my work and make them resonate.
In addition, graphic design also needs to have a deep understanding of the target audience and take into account the effect of information delivery. This requires us to continuously learn and improve ourselves, accumulate experience in practice and keep an open mind to unfamiliar things.
In a word, I love graphic design work, because it can stimulate my creativity and let me share my ideas and emotions with others. I hope I can do more significant and creative work in this field in the future.

As a packaging designer, my future plan is to continuously improve my professional ability and design level, and become a leader in the industry. I will continue to learn current design concepts and techniques, continually challenge myself, accumulate experience in practice, and improve my aesthetic ability and creative thinking.
In the following work, I will pay more attention to communication and cooperation with customers, thoroughly understand their needs and brand positioning, and tailor unique and competitive packaging design solutions for them. At the same time, I will also pay close attention to market dynamics and changes in consumer preferences, integrate fashion elements and environmental protection concepts into the design, and promote the packaging industry to a more sustainable development direction.
Next, I hope to gradually establish my own brand and open my own studio or online platform. In this way, projects can be selected more flexibly and international markets can be expanded. At the same time, they can develop team members to grow together and participate in public welfare to give back to society.
In a word, I am full of confidence in the future and look forward to challenges and opportunities.

Each of my projects is my own design. Although it was a bit gradual, I was able to better control the rhythm of the whole design and make a product that met expectations. Of course, if I have the opportunity to work with others in the future, I will be involved.

I am currently working on a regional type of tea packaging which, when designed, I will share with you.
