At the beginning of the design, the hand-drawn concept sketch is the most exciting time. It is a bit boring when I start to draw the drawings needed for the construction in the middle, but when I see the satisfied expression of the customer after the construction is completed, I know this is what he wants. When I was studying, I always admired designers or architects with beautiful hand-painted, especially Louis Kahn’s view of light, Wright’s design hand-painting beyond contemporary thinking, and Carlo Scarpa’s detailed hand-painted drawings, which are all for me. It has a great influence. So I think that as a designer, the hand-painting ability is essential.

Communicate more, don’t be alone
