ND in industrial design, HND product design and BA in Industrial design 1st class honours. I always liked creating and making things from a young age, even taken things apart to see how they work.
We are a small industrial design studio in Shoreditch London, We are lucky as we work on a wide range of diverse projects. We tailor make teams based on the clients / projects needs. We are very adaptable and flexible which is a must for todays current market.
Design is problem solving and creating something new and enhancing the experience for the user.
I like projects where there is a challenge and it pushes my mind and skill base
The design i admire most is the Eames lounge chair, I designed a swatch dect3 phone which was a great design, the project was very successful and the whole project process was so enjoyable.
It was a navigation pod which attached to the arm of the captains chair so that he could override the systems.
I love real materials and the qualities they have.
As a designer you are always creative and sometimes its hard to switch off.
I try to focus on maintaining a different perspective.
All emotions ranging from frustration to joy.
I generally feel satisfied or irritated if I regret making certain adjustments.
There are many qualities to a successful design depending on financial elements, usability, aesthetics and engineering components.
Generally the look and feel first and the function second.
