A Afterimages Magazin bemutatása
Az Afterimages művészeti magazin grafikai tervezési koncepciója és vizuális kommunikációja koherens: a logótól az identitáson át az elrendezésig. A projekt fő célja az volt, hogy a lódzi Strzeminski Képzőművészeti Akadémia hagyatékával foglalkozzon, és létrehozza annak modern változatát, amely az avantgárd hagyományból ered. Durva minőségű papír, szárazbélyegzéstechnika, a borítóra felvitt nyomdaszín (Pantone), az egyes számok témájának megfelel. A magazin gazdagon illusztrált, minőségi fotókkal teli, ebből a szempontból az életmód magazinra hasonlít.

Afterimages Magazin az Ezüstdíj A' Design Award győztese, óriási presztízsű elismerés a csúcskategóriás, lenyűgöző és impozáns dizájnoknak. Az ezüstgyőztesek rendkívül ragyogó és nagyon kreatív művek, amelyek szemléltetik tervezőik kiemelkedő szakértelmét, tehetségét és éleslátását. Afterimages Magazin-tól azt várják, hogy csodálatos, mintaszerű mű legyen, amely figyelemre méltóan professzionális és mélyen innovatív. Ez az Ezüstdíj A' Design Award kitüntetést elnyert dizájn igen figyelemre méltó, csodált találmány, amely szolgálja, és előre viszi a művészet, a tudomány, a dizájn és a technológia határait. Afterimages Magazin széles körben irigyelt alkotás, amely felkelti a vágyakat, pozitív érzéseket hoz, és csodálatot és ámulatot gyújt.

- Egyedi tulajdonságok
- Bigger format, rough high quality paper from the 'csm' collection, dry-stamping technique, the printing color (Pantone) applied to the cover corresponds to the topic of each issue. The magazine is richly illustrated, filled with high-quality photos, and in this respect it resembles life style magazines. It is the first printed magazine published by the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and it is available not only for students and teaches, it is distributed nationwide.

- Design kihívás
- The challenge was to create a design of the magazine, on the one hand, referring to the avant-garde tradition, and on the other, creating its modern, fresh version. It was a challenge to reach interested recipients, create a platform and a community around the magazine and create a magazine with premium design, content and paper on a limited budget and with a small team.

- The artistic and scientific, thematic magazine Powidoki (Afterimages) is published by the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz (Poland). The periodical is devoted to significant artistic and scientific events. It contains critical texts about art and design as well as interviews with prominent figures of the world of culture and higher education from Poland and abroad.
- Inspiráció
- The inspiration of the project was the heritage of the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts Lodz and their great artists: Strzeminski, Kobro, Hiller, the avangarde, which was established over one hundred years ago. An afterimage is an image that continues to appear in the eyes after a period of exposure to the original image. Our brain produces it when we stare at something for a long time. This image is not as obvious as it seems at first glance. It is blurred and not clear.
- Projekt időtartama
- The first issue of the magazine was created and published in 2019. By mid-2021 it has been published five issues of 'Afterimages' (two issues per year). Place of the creation of the magazine: Lodz, Poland.
