Pwopriyete Inik: As the inspiration comes from the owner’s background working in the film industry, a bit of drama is added into action by inserting a stage within the common space of this flat. This stage functions a domestic living area, which is covered in lighter color scheme with soft timber finish in order to contrast with the monotone backdrop area of dining and working. Contradistinction enlarges space visually. This theatrical connection makes a unique atmosphere for its inhabitants.

The tatami flooring in the living area forms a mixture usage of formal and casual style. It can be a quiet corner to meditate or a space to host more visitors when it is needed. Relocating a dining table next to a working desk, dining room can be transformed into various uses of dining, reading, working, and meeting. It’s also a link to private section in the back.
