Kev Tshawb Fawb: The research behind the Element lamp explored integrating laboratory equipment functionality into lighting design. The methodology involved iterative design processes and various manufacturing techniques. Prototypes ranged from low to high fidelity for thorough testing. Insights from these experiments led to the final design, focusing on efficiency and ease of use. This project demonstrates how design-inspired research can transform into real-life applications.
Kev Txhawb Siab: The inspiration for the lamp stems from the practicality and simplicity of laboratory equipment such as stands, clamps, and holders. It deeply influences its form, mechanism, and the entire manufacturing process to create a functional and efficient lighting solution.
