The biggest problem with current small delivery robots on the market is one or few deliveries per one ride. After one delivery, the robot must return to the base to receive the next package. In that way, a lot of time is lost between two clients. A large fleet of robots is necessary.
Kev Txhawb Siab: The volumes, lines and colors of Honey Bee are the inspiration for the organic shape of the main robot body. The hexagonal shape of the storage compartments is inspired by the natural geometric shape of Honeycomb. It is main functional and aesthetic light-motive. Construction of the horse-drawn Carriages was the inspiration for the symmetrical architecture of the vehicle. For better visibility in night conditions, Led emitting strips have been installed in the aluminum rims and 4 arc blinkers.
