Texto do Libro: A colección Pomi d'Umbria Lignea é unha gama de difusores de fragrancia para ambientes fabricados en Umbria, Italia. Cada difusor combina unha botella de vidro, varas naturais de bambú e unha tapa superior de deseño en madeira. As tapas están feitas a partir de marcos de madeira decorados con moldura de follas e froitas. Cada tapa é modelada a man e rematada con pan de ouro, polo que as pequenas imperfeccións do material fan que cada peza sexa única. Os recambios e unha versión en spray amplían o uso da colección. Unha vez baleira a botella, a tapa de madeira pode servir como pisapapeis.

Tecnoloxía de Produción: The designer tops are made from wooden picture frames decorated with leaf and fruit molding. They are fashioned one by one, shaped exclusively by hand with a gold leaf finish, to become true jewels of the finest craftsmanship. Any tiny imperfection in the material renders each product unique and tells the story of a valuable art and craft process. Products come in FSC-certified cardboard cases. Inside are elegantly-shaped glass bottles containing hand-made fragrances, natural reed diffuser sticks.
Reto de Deseño: For the designer Elisabetta Furin, who is passionate about cultural anthropology, the design of a product must draw on the historical roots of local areas and influence craftsmanship and artistic expression with contemporary sensitivity.
Investigación: The designer Elisabetta Furin was instrumental in leading us to research an extraordinary material: wood. Through the emotional experience of room fragrances, Pomi is all about combining quality craftsmanship with local culture. So, the Lignea Collection becomes an opportunity to take a trip down memory lane and discover the treasures of this land. Even as a child, Elisabetta was in awe of the magnificent gold decorations seen on church altars, and through her studies she learned to appreciate their great artistic value and craftsmanship.
Inspiración: The designer tops are made of gilded wood and draw inspiration from the knowledge and experience of wood craftsmen and their work. Using wood taken from picture frames decorated with fruit and leaf molding, they are individually and exclusively handmade with a gold leaf finish, to become real jewels of the finest, Renaissance-style craftsmanship.
Duración do Proxecto: The project started in February 2020 in Perugia (Italy) and the collection was presented for the first time in October 2021 at Rastrello Boutique, a luxury hotel in Panicale, and was exhibited in February 2022 at Umbria-Toscana Bank, a regional finantial institution in piazza IV Novembre in Perugia, one of the most beautiful piazzas of Italy.
Fluxo de Operacións: A spray version is available to intensify the fragrances of the Lignea Collection and spread their scented notes through interior spaces in a simple and natural way. Finally, once you have used up the fragrances from the Collection, you can choose to continue on your scented journey with our special refills, or use the designer tops as exclusive items and accessories: the designer tops can become original paperweights.
