Tha a’ phrìomh obair ga chleachdadh mar bhòrd-ithe & san dàrna àite mar bhòrd sgeidse. B’ e an dùbhlan ciamar a dhèanadh am bòrd-ithe fada seo seasmhach leis gu bheil na casan claon. Chaidh mòran rannsachaidh a dhèanamh a thaobh an seòrsa fiodha agus na feartan co-fhreagarrach a th’ ann, leithid cruas & sùbailteachd & san dàrna h-àite, an dòigh air caisead a dhèanamh gus a chleachdadh mar bhòrd-sgeidse, a' coimhead air diofar stoidhlichean de bhùird-dhealbhan gus an deach dòighean ceangail traidiseanta a chleachdadh & cuideachd tha an inneal togail le slighean gus an caisead fhaighinn.

Tha Sketchy Ann Am Bòrd air Duais Umha A' Design Award a bhuannachadh, aithneachadh gu math urramach a bheirear do dhealbhaidhean sònraichte a tha air an comharrachadh le cruthachalachd, innleachd agus geurchuis. Tha buannaichean Umha nan obraichean gu math sgileil agus gu sònraichte cruthachail a dhearbhas eòlas farsaing, mac-meanmna agus tapachd an luchd-dealbhaidh. Thathar an dùil gum bi Sketchy Ann Am Bòrd na nì air a bheil mòran meas, ion-mholta agus gràdhach, a tha gu sònraichte proifeiseanta agus ùr-ghnàthach. Tha an dealbhadh seo a bhuannaich Duais Umha A' Design Award a' cur nan cleachdaidhean as fheàrr ann an ealain, saidheans, dealbhadh agus teicneolas an gnìomh, agus tha e sàr-mhath airson an aire do mhion-fhiosrachadh. Creideasan, buill sgioba agus fiosrachadh teicnigeach a chuir an dealbhaiche ri chèile.

Feartan Sònraichte: The primary operation is using it as a dinning table & secondly as a sketch board. At first it looks simple & this simplicity is the reason that makes it special in a curious way. But what makes it unique, is the way it opens & stands, as a ''cavalletto'' for sketching & drawing. The light curves on the wooden structure & also on the edges of the top surface refer us in the decade of 70's. Special detail in the surface is the combination of the two different materials.
Tomhasan & Pacadh: The top surface dimension is 2500 X 900mm curved in the edges & has thickness 24mm in two different materials wood & mdf panel in glossy lacquered. The legs & the structure are walnut wood with thickness 62 X 38mm.The finally height of the table is 770mm.

Teicneòlas Cinneasachaidh: The table was digitally designed using cad & 3d modeling software. The top was made in CNC in curved way. The structure of the legs are all wooden & connected together with traditional joining techniques. The mechanism is with tracks in order to receive the gradient that you prefer for sketching.
Dùbhlan Dealbhaidh: The fist challenge was how to make this long dinning table steady because the legs are inclined & secondly the way to make it gradient in order to be used as a sketch table.
Rannsachadh: This research project is focused on how to connect the base of the table & on which type of wood that will be used for construction in order to achieve the stabilization of the table. Particular emphasis was given in the tilt mechanism that remind us of ''cavalletto'' of renaissance & in the combination of colors.
Brosnachadh: This table is something that I had in mind for several years. The first thought of it started during my studies as an interior designer. It reminds me the sketch table we used then & also the 70's decade, which I love the most, as I have the best memories as a child.
Faid a' Phròiseict: This project is in a concept stage & has not been prototyped or constructed. The concept work started in May of 2014 & ended in end of June 2014.
Sruth Obrachaidh: This table has plenty of uses. It can be used as a dinning table, a convention table, meeting table & also thanks to the lift mechanism as a sketch board or presentation board.
