The team innovated with traditional Venetian glass-blowing techniques, developing new methods to reinforce the glass without compromising its delicate appearance. Collaboration with master artisans and advanced technology helped merge craftsmanship with modern design, achieving a stunning yet functional piece.
Rannsachadh: The creation of Flore involved extensive research into glass manipulation, balancing both the fragility and strength required for the design. The biggest challenge was achieving the perfect gradient effect while ensuring durability. The design team worked closely with master artisans, experimenting with various techniques and prototypes to perfect the color transition and structure. The result is a collection that redefines glass as both a material and a medium of organic expression, offering a fresh perspective on modern furniture design.
Brosnachadh: Flore is a dreamlike celebration of light and petals, capturing the delicate and graceful beauty of a flower in full bloom. Inspired by the soft glow of morning light on translucent petals, the glass material gives it a crystalline, ethereal quality, while the gradient pink tones mimic the natural unfolding of petals. The rounded, smooth forms evoke organic beauty, with each piece radiating a tranquil, poetic atmosphere that transforms any space into a serene haven.
Faid a' Phròiseict: The Flore project began in January 2023 in Venice, Italy, and was completed in June 2024.
Sruth Obrachaidh: Flore blends art and functionality seamlessly, offering versatility for different spaces. The single-seat sofa provides a perfect retreat, whether placed by a window for natural light reflections or in a cozy corner for a meditative break.
