Is e bòrd cofaidh a th' ann am Pìos De D' Sgeul a bheir ealain tatù a-steach do sgeadachadh taobh a-staigh. Tha am mullach air a dhèanamh de fhiodh, còmhdaichte le leathar air a thatùadh le làimh agus còmhdaichte le roiseam epoxy, gus an gabh nithean fliuch, teth no fuar a chur air an uachdar gun a bhith a' fàgail smal sam bith. Tha an leathar air fhuaigheal le làimh gus coltas fìrinneach a thoirt dha. Tha a' chas dèante de stàilinn sguabte, a' cruthachadh cothromachadh eadar an gnìomhachail agus an eireachdail. Gabhaidh a' chas a thoirt às a chèile agus a chur air cùl a' bhùird, gus an gabh am pìos nas lugha de rùm a ghabhail rè giùlan.

- The biggest challenge was to choose the right material to use it. Especially the thickness of the leather, which couldn’t be too thin or it would not support the needles piercing through it without cutting it completely.
The kind of leather and type of needle we had to use it were also a challenge to discover.
The ink to be utilized to not react with the resin cover.
