Ayon est un système de santé domestique qui propose un coaching guidé en matière de forme physique, de nutrition, de sommeil et d'habitudes quotidiennes. Le système associe une application soutenue par l'intelligence artificielle, un traqueur d'activité porté sur le corps et un appareil central doté d'une caméra. Ce dernier se compose d'une base en aluminium de 85 sur 85 sur 20 millimètres et d'un boîtier en acrylique dépoli abritant une caméra grand angle et une bande lumineuse. Des repères visuels et vocaux guident les exercices, la méditation et la respiration. La caméra peut être inclinée vers le bas pour préserver l'intimité. Le matériel modulaire permet des mises à niveau ultérieures sans remplacement complet.

Ayon bridges the gap between costly personal coaching and impersonal apps, empowering people to live healthier.
Dimensions & Emballage: The Ayon core device features a compact aluminium base of 85 × 85 × 20 mm for stability and durability. On top sits a 30 mm high frosted acrylic housing that integrates the wide-angle HD camera and ambient RGB light strip. This combination of robust aluminium and translucent acrylic ensures both precision in function and an elegant, minimal aesthetic suited for modern living spaces.

Technologie de Production: The Ayon core device was developed using a user-centered design methodology, integrating iterative prototyping with expert feedback from fitness coaches and AI engineers. Its housing employs durable, aluminium. Advanced computer vision and biometric algorithms were embedded to enable precise motion tracking, while modular hardware allows future upgrades without full device replacement.
Défi de Conception: The hardest part was uniting advanced AI technology with a simple, trustworthy design, lagency-free. Creative challenges included balancing technical accuracy in motion tracking with an approachable aesthetic that fits into homes. Obstacles involved limited production options for compact, modular hardware, strict privacy laws, and ensuring affordability.
Recherche: The research was applied design research. The objective was to create an affordable, holistic health coach. Using user-centered design, methods included interviews, motion-capture tests, and prototyping. Data came from wearables, cameras, and surveys. Participants were health coaches, physiotherapists, and everyday users. Results showed demand for simplicity and trust. Insights shaped Ayon’s modular design. Impact: accessible health support for society and a strong business case.
Inspiration: Ayon was inspired by the personal challenge of accessing professional health support, which is often expensive and fragmented. Motivated by the need for a holistic, affordable solution, we combined research in AI, biomechanics, and digital coaching to create an inclusive system that integrates fitness, nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness into one accessible design.
Durée du Projet: The Ayon project began in zurich in january 2023 with the initial concept and research phase. Prototyping and user testing were conducted throughout 2024 in collaboration with international design and engineering partners. The first functional prototypes of the core device were completed in September 2025. Ayon is scheduled to be shipped in Q4 2026
Flux Opérationnel: The Ayon core device is placed in front of the user and switches on automatically. The built-in camera and light strip guide the user through exercises, meditation, or breathwork with simple visual and voice cues. Tilting the camera down ensures privacy when not in use. By combining movement tracking, feedback, and mindfulness in one elegant object, it makes training more accurate, engaging, and sustainable than standard fitness devices.
