La gare de Newhengdian est un espace intérieur ferroviaire situé à Dongyang. Le projet réinterprète le langage architectural traditionnel de la ville. La répétition d'éléments verticaux compose une image spatiale simple et régulière. Le plafond associe des lignes métalliques composites à des motifs sculptés sur bois, conférant au lieu un effet d'extension qui oriente le regard. Les tonalités chaudes du bois donnent l'ambiance générale. Les devantures des boutiques sont entièrement vitrées plutôt que cloisonnées, afin que les présentations commerciales demeurent flexibles. D'une superficie de 45 000 mètres carrés, le projet offre aux voyageurs des espaces d'attente, de restauration et de repos.

The bucket arch structure and wood carving skills echo the profound historical heritage and shape the new living room of the city.

- For tourists, the station is the first and final impression of the city. The design of the waiting hall fully reflects the integrity and regionality of the building. The architectural style is based on traditional Chinese cultural elements, and the overall tone uses a warmer wood color.
- Inspiration
- The creative concept of this case is "integration into the city, vertical penetration and context inheritance". The design starts with the close spatial relationship between the station building and the commercial system and the traditional urban spatial scale of Dongyang. Starting from the level of conforming to the urban texture, the strip volume is adopted to better echo the railway streamline, so that the building volume is both atmospheric and modern.
