گیلسانگ ۷ روز یک کیت دم‌آوری خانگی برای ماکولی، نوشیدنی سنتی کره‌ای بر پایه برنج است. این کیت دستور پختی از سانگا یوروک، متن آشپزی کره‌ای قرن پانزدهم، را به فرآیندی ساده هفت‌روزه تبدیل می‌کند. فرنی از پیش پخته‌شده و برنج بخارپز در ظروف دربسته به همراه نوروک و پارچه صافی ارائه می‌شوند، به‌طوری‌که نیاز به آماده‌سازی چندانی نیست. استریل‌سازی در دمای بالا، ایمنی و ماندگاری طولانی محصول را تضمین می‌کند. بسته‌بندی از کاغذ سازگار با محیط زیست با بافتی شبیه دست‌نوشته‌های قدیمی ساخته شده و یک کد چاپ‌شده، کاربر را به راهنماهای ویدیویی به چندین زبان متصل می‌کند.

The packaging, crafted from eco-friendly paper with textures reminiscent of old manuscripts, incorporates a QR code offering multilingual guidance, reducing printed materials and supporting sustainability.

The aesthetics of ancient manuscripts are reflected in the design, while modern conveniences such as pre-prepared ingredients create a unique brewing experience that bridges past and present.

- The project began at Geumpung Brewery in Ganghwa, Incheon, in March 2025, completed development in August 2025, and was first launched in September 2025. All production and operations take place at Geumpung Brewery.

- Over seven days, users complete simple steps to brew their own Makgeolli:
Day 1: Mix porridge and nuruk to begin fermentation
Day 2: Add steamed rice to accelerate fermentation
Day 7: Strain with cloth, dilute with water, and enjoy
