خانواده Tux با تمرکز دوگانه بر سبک و کارکرد طراحی شده است. این صندلی با الهام از ظرافت پیچیده کت و شلوارهای اسموکینگ، دارای ساختار دو تکه‌ای است که به طور ویژه برای ارائه حمایت بهینه به ناحیه کمر طراحی شده است. این طرح با هدف حفظ انحنای طبیعی ستون فقرات، از ناراحتی‌هایی که معمولاً با نشستن طولانی‌مدت همراه است، جلوگیری می‌کند. علاوه بر این، ساختار صندلی به طور پنهانی اجزای مکانیکی را در زیر نشیمنگاه پوشانده و به شخصیت متمایز صندلی کمک کرده و آن را از صندلی‌های اداری معمولی متمایز می‌سازد.
