درباره Maestoso هتل
مائستوزو هتلی است که از طریق بازسازی یک ساختمان موجود از دهه ۱۹۷۰ ایجاد شده است. این طراحی رویکردی پایدار برای به‌روزرسانی ساختمان‌های قدیمی هتل که به شخصیتی تازه و امکانات جدید نیاز دارند، ارائه می‌دهد. عنصر اصلی این طرح، ساختار نمای ساختمان است که بالکن‌های اضافه‌شده را نگه می‌دارد و ظاهر ساختمان را با چشم‌انداز اطراف هماهنگ می‌کند. نما به‌صورت پارامتریک مدل‌سازی شده و از تیرهای چوبی که با فرزکاری CNC شکل داده شده‌اند، ساخته شده است. در داخل، دیوارها با برس‌کاری به‌گونه‌ای پرداخت شده‌اند که ساختار خام بتنی را نمایان می‌سازند و مبلمانی از چوب و متال، گرمایی به فضا می‌بخشد.

- The Maestoso hotel is a renovation of an existing 1970s building. The project proposes a new and sustainable way of renovating old hotel buildings, which are in need of a new character and new facilities. The main feature of the design is the façade structure, which on one hand, serves as supporting structure for the added balconies, while on the other hand, it blends the buildings appearance with the surrounding landscape.

- The realization of the project required a completely three dimensional approach to the structure as well as the interior organization of the space. The façade was parametrically modeled and produced with CNC milling out of wooden beams. On the inside, the walls were brushed and cleaned to reveal the rough concrete structure. Furnishing made of wood and metal was inserted to add additional warmth to the interior space.

- The main inspiration for the design can be found in the traditional white fence that surrounds the pastures of the white Lipizzaner horses. The fences are a recognizable regional motif that is carried onto the building envelope, creating a bond between the large hotel volume and the local landscape. The intent of the project was to propose a sustainable approach to hotel renovation, where instead of demolishing an old building, we propose a repurposing and expansion of the existing structure.
