متن کتاب: نانینگ هائویویوان یک رستوران ضیافت‌های رسمی است که در شهر نانینگ چین طراحی شده است. چیدمان فضا از سیستم سنتی چینی حیاط سه‌قسمتی الهام گرفته است که واسازی شده و به توالی از فضاهایی نیمه‌بسته و شفاف بازآرایی شده است. فرم‌های منحنی بزرگ و شبکه‌های فلزی، فضاها را از هم جدا می‌کنند، به‌طوری‌که دید میان بخش‌ها همچنان متصل باقی می‌ماند اما مناطق مجزا از یکدیگر حفظ می‌شوند. نمای ساختمان، سازه‌ای از استیل ضدزنگ را با یک دیوار پرده‌ای شیشه‌ای بزرگ ترکیب می‌کند که در استخری آبی بازتاب می‌یابد. رنگ‌های سیاه، سفید و برنزی طلایی در کنار متریال‌های چوبی به‌کار رفته‌اند تا نتیجه‌ای ساده و شیک پدید آید.

- In terms of spatial layout, it draws on the traditional Chinese three-in-one courtyard system, deconstructs and reorganizes it, and advances layer by layer in a semi-enclosed and transparent space. The designer uses the modern large curved surface modeling and metal grid to divide the space. The vision is separated but not divided, which makes the internal and external space transition naturally and endows the space with a sense of ceremony.
