Diseinu Erronka: The sculpture groups are each located on the ends of a terrace of a loft in Vienna. They should not only fulfill their function as flower troughs and sculptures, but also serve as privacy screens for the bedrooms. In addition to the design, it was important here to create the appropriate heights and gaps to let as much light as possible into the bedrooms.
Ikerketa: The artist proceeded step by step in shaping the troughs. First, the species and quantities of plants were determined. To gain a lot of light in the bedrooms, the maximum height was determined. The viewing directions and angles also played a big role. The slats, which vary in height, are staggered and set at an angle so as not to block the view from the rooms.
Inspirazioa: The warm color and the special shape language are a real eye-catcher. The original shapes of these troughs are figurative sculptures, which were simplified to create a combination between sculptures and useful object.
