Teosest Island Primaarne funktsioon: Juuksurisalong

Island on juuksurisalong, mis paikneb neljakümne aasta vanuses 165-ruutmeetrises majas. Renoveerimisel on välditud liigset kaunistamist. Disain toob loodusesemed linnakeskkonda.

Uurimistöö
Using siphon theory where air pressure pushes down on water and water fills up 11 tanks evenly in the corners until water supply is stopped.
Decorative logs are tied and wrapped with cotton and linen fabric to allow water to be evenly distributed to the logs thus climbing plants can absorb water evenly.
An urban space is enriched with nature elements and a simple physical principle.
Inspiratsioon
Birds sing, water flows, wood and plants release the fragrance of nature. A place, filled with greenery and vitality, differentiates itself from the rest of hair salons and reinterpret the spatial concept.
Projekti kestus
The project started in November 2019 and finished in December 2019 in Taipei.

It is intended to introduce nature elements into an urban space with simplicity principle and thus provides another form of design theory.
