The project investigates how interlocking components can create a calm architectural presence while maintaining simplicity and ease of assembly.
Duración del Proyecto: The project started in February 2026 in Istanbul and was completed in February 2026 in Istanbul. The design was developed as a producible furniture piece under Studio Soldout.
Flujo de Operación: Threshold is assembled by sliding the metal planes into each other through pre engineered slots. The interlocking geometry secures the structure without screws or additional tools. The interaction is intuitive and guided by the form itself. Once assembled, the table provides a stable surface while maintaining a visually lightweight appearance.
