Moon Chair es una silla de autoensamblaje fabricada en madera maciza. El diseño emplea la carpintería tradicional de caja y espiga junto con uniones de cola de milano. No incluye conectores metálicos, por lo que Moon Chair puede montarse y desmontarse a mano en dos o tres pasos. La silla está hecha de nogal americano y se conforma mediante corte de madera. Sus dimensiones son de 390 por 340 por 680 milímetros. El formato de embalaje plano reduce los costes de transporte y resulta ideal para la venta en línea. Investigación: Nowadays, the young generation has lower income, small living space, likes online shopping, moves frequently and pursues a certain quality of life. They need flexible, space-saving, easy-to-use, simple and stylish furniture to improve their quality of life. Moon Chair skillfully uses traditional mortise and tenon structure, the whole product has no metal connectors, and can be assembled and disassembled with bare hands, and the beauty of its structure well demonstrates the wisdom of the predecessors. The flat design greatly reduces transportation costs and is ideal for online sales.
Inspiración: The current young generation of people with low income, narrow living space, like online shopping, often moving, the pursuit of a certain quality of life. We hope to design a new mortise and tenon structure based on the traditional mortise and tenon structure, combined with the toughness of wood materials, to realize a high degree of integration of the disassembling function, firmness and aesthetics of the chair!
Duración del Proyecto: The project started in April 2018 in Hangzhou and finished in August 2020 in Hangzhou.
