- The designers regard time label and cultural symbol as design elements to create a unique and relaxing space environment: Firstly, the building exterior adopts the typical thatched hut structure of a hundred years ago. In terms of time, it creates a feeling of being away from the modern city for the user. Secondly, all the interior furniture and accessories are made of old wood, which is manufactured by traditional craftsmanship, allowing users to experience a more pure old-age living environment. Thirdly, in Chinese traditional culture, there is a hermit culture, which represents an attitude of life to leave the city and pursue inner peace. The designer intends to create such a psychological feeling of living in seclusion in the mountains for users.
- Dizajna Defio
- All furniture and woodwork in the project are made on site using old wood, there are high requirements on traditional production process and techniques. It is necessary to find a group of experienced traditional craftsmen to complete work on site. During indoor construction, large-scale mechanical equipment cannot be used for hoisting.
