Pri Sousmotif Coaster
Estas sufiĉe intrigante povi vidi aspektojn de la historio kaj folkloro de unu lando tra malsama perspektivo. Ĉi tio kondukis al la kreado de Sousmotif, kombina aro, kiu estas inspirita de la motivo trovita sur teksaĵoj produktitaj de tradicia teksilo en Norda Grekio. Historio vivas tra kloako kaj faras novan turnon.

Sousmotif Coaster estas gajninto de la Fera A' Design Award, prestiĝa rekono donata al bonaj dezajnoj, kiuj plenumas la profesiajn kaj industriajn postulojn atendatajn de bone dezajnitaj kreaĵoj. La Feraj gajnintoj montras grandan lertecon, altan specialiĝon, spertan komprenon kaj kreivan kapablon de siaj kreintoj. Oni atendas, ke Sousmotif Coaster estu tre estimata, admirata kaj ŝatata kreaĵo, kiu estas praktika kaj nova. Ĉi tiu dezajno gajninta la Feran A' Design Award integras plej bonajn industriajn praktikojn kaj havas kompetentajn teknikajn karakterizojn ligitajn kun scipovo kaj talento. Sousmotif Coaster estas respektata pro sia zorgemo kaj estas dezajnita por provizi plibonigojn de la vivokvalito, kiuj helpas fari la mondon pli bona loko.

- Unikaj Ecoj
- The idea that one coaster could be multiplied into two and also combine the two different materials or not into various combinations according to the user's aesthetics was very intriguing to me.

- Sousmotif is made out of laser cut okoume wood and white plexiglass.
Because of the different nature of the materials, there was a lot of fine tuning that took place in order to reach the desired result. - Dizajna Defio
- The transition from the folklore past to the present situation made me to lean first to wood as a natural material which would be complemented with Plexiglas. Keeping in mind the factor of sturdiness and after several tests with different types of wood, okoume plywood seemed to be the finest solution. The wish to get the user to create hers or his personal touch according to how they will combine or not these different materials and shapes led us to the design of a well-balanced product with a profound reference to Greece's recent past.

- I was always intrigued by the technical skills of the users of the traditional looms in Greece and the fine and rich results they were able to deliver through a vast number of motifs created on textiles. My idea was to brake down these motifs into simplified forms that they would be able to live through objects of our everyday life.
- Inspiro
- In search for a new generation of souvenirs that would bring up hidden aspects of our history, I came up with Soumotif. It is a coaster which is inspired by the motif found on textiles produced by a traditional loom in Northern Greece. The motif from a textile, is transformed into a 3D object, which is brought into our everyday lives through a coaster.

- The project started in March 2016 in Athens and finished in July 2016 in Athens, and was exhibited in It's all, oh so souvenir to me Vol. 4, Thessaloniki Greece
- Funkcia Fluo
- Each set consists of 4 coasters which by being able to be multiplied give us 8 coasters in total. When a coaster is placed on a surface, a negative or a positive footprint of the motif is created on it.
