Το Rhythmic είναι ένα βιβλίο που μελετά τη θετική επίδραση της punk κουλτούρας στην ψυχική υγεία. Ο σχεδιασμός βασίζεται στις punk αξίες του «κάν' το μόνος σου», της αντίδρασης και της αυτοέκφρασης, διαμορφώνοντας μια συνεκτική μουσική αφήγηση μέσα από μια σαφή οπτική γλώσσα. Το κόκκινο, το μαύρο και το λευκό χρησιμοποιούνται ως βασικά χρώματα. Οι γραμματοσειρές και τα γραφικά τοποθετούνται σε ένα σταθερό πλέγμα που υπονοεί σύντομες μορφές και γρήγορους ρυθμούς. Το βιβλίο έχει διαστάσεις 210 επί 140 χιλιοστά και 92 σελίδες. Το Rhythmic διατίθεται τόσο ως ηλεκτρονικό βιβλίο όσο και ως έκδοση με σκληρό εξώφυλλο και βιβλιοδεσία τύπου «πεταλούδα». Integrating punk's unconventional and transformative spirit into art therapy can lead to a better understanding of the effects of art therapy and strike a balance while distinguishing it from traditional punk art and art therapy works. Through innovative forms of expression, it breaks the limitations of the definition, such as art created outside the boundaries of its official culture.
Έρευνα: Red symbolizes the definite emotional power of punk-catharsis, release, breaking the mold, and matching with black and white, the iconic colors of punk art, to brighten and enliven the picture. Embed fonts and graphics into a stable grid layout system to obtain a sense of balance and show significant punk music characteristics such as short formats, fast tempos, simple melodies and harmonies through different arrangements of fixed elements. The essence lies in the narrative expressiveness of music. Each page presents a variety of rhythmical sense to enrich the viewer's sensory experience.
Έμπνευση: Traumatic memories are usually encoded visually. Artistic creation can be used to understand traumatic experiences better, motivate creativity and unlimited imagination of self-expression, and thus establish a refuge for strong emotions. Inspired by personal experiences and influenced by DIY thinking, empowerment and the uncontrolled, homemade style of the punk spirit, the author uses self-concept reshaping as a creative archetype combined with visual art to express value cognition.
Διάρκεια Έργου: The project started in November 2022 and finished in November 2023, in New York.
Ροή Λειτουργίας: Using Adobe Indesign as the tool to edit and Design the book before print it. The paper was tested during the printing process and Bright silver card was used as a special material to highlight the center page to reach the climax.
