- Unique Properties
- This is the first cover for helmet jet. The Toba offers the possibility of being able to manage the jet helmet once parked the vehicle on two wheels expecially. Totally water repellent and antibasculating, equipped with zip and portable in three different modes, by hand, shoulder and backpack. The Toba welcomes the jet helmet inside and can custom objects. Wearing the helmet, it turns a bag, confortable and resistant. Scooters often have space for just one helmet. Skiers and snowboarders often have objects and helmets to manage in moments of relaxation. This way you do not need other bags. Everything is in one solution
- Inspiration
- The project was created by a personal need, for us and for people of two wheels. Managing the helmet and personal items was a priority. So we found the solution creating a bring helmet and the helmet becames a closed, beautiful bag.
- Research
- Bag always come in three colors. Tissue derived from recovery or recycling material. The goal was the zero mile production and the data collection has been made through textile figure marrying Green politics. Partecipants were small companies in the territory and the other goal was to appeal to a customer interested in respecting the environment
- Challenge
- To create a bag for peolple of two wheels and for those who practice sports such as skiing and snowboarding that require the use of a helmet that would stand a part from the others simply bags for helmet on the market. Also equipped with the exit hole next to the safety zip through which the earphones of your smartphone come out comfortably Make peolple understand the beauty and uniqueness of the product, to be understood at large companies producing helmets and scooter. Especially fot the electric world where, often, there are no spaces to pose the helmet
- Realization and Technology
- Plastic and recovery materials and recycling 87%. Polyester (owned to the class of polymers) derived from the recycling of plastic bottles
- Operation and Interaction
- The Toba becomes an irresistable accessory for the jet helmet when he is not worn. Is important understand the helmet becomes a bag. On every occasion; on the road, on snow and in any situation you have the need to put the helmet back in total security
- Project Duration and Location
- The project started on February 2018 but the early drawings of Toba were born in 2017, september in Turin, Italy. The first prototype was created artisanally and was tested with our helmet to understand really the comfort and practicality
- Specifications
- the dimensions of Toba for helmet 320 mm long 270 mm height 260 mm depth. Every Toba is sewn and refined with italian Companies. Post consumption plastic material is selected and reduced to small fragments (chips). The chips subsequently extruded and processed become continuos thread New Life. The zip is very big and Lining of satin. Labels in cotton. The packaging for Toba is a bag of recycled paper.
