About Lays Dungeons And Dragons Food Packaging
Lays Dungeons and Dragons is a food packaging design created for a range of potato chips. The packaging was released as a tie-in with the 2023 film Dungeons and Dragons, Honor Among Thieves, and was joined by an influencer kit. The design draws on the fantasy world of the film. The central figure of the campaign is The Potato, a character that appears in the film and is also a real potato. The theme links the story to the potatoes grown on more than 100 farms in the United States and Canada that supply the chips.

- Unique Properties
- LAY’S® went to the movies with epic new packaging and an influencer kit tie-in for the 2023 blockbuster Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. With flavor as our guide, we rolled the dice and entered the legendary world of Dungeons and Dragons, joining the millions of adventurers ready for a taste of excitement.
- Inspiration
- The main character in our campaign was “The Potato,” a character in the movie and—yes—an actual potato. After all, every bag of Lay’s Potato Chips in the U.S. is made from our very own chip-perfecting potatoes grown on over 100 farms across the US and a handful in Canada.
