About True Fila Bulb
True Fila is a bendable LED filament light bulb designed for indoor lighting. The flexible filament can be shaped into many forms, so the lamp suits a wide range of lighting settings. The filament is made of a modified flexible printed circuit base film and is enclosed in a glass bulb. A miniature LED process keeps the filament width at no more than 0.6 millimetres, which gives a slim appearance. The phosphor mix was refined to obtain a sunlight-like spectrum with a colour rendering value above 98. The form recalls traditional tungsten lamps.

- This bendable LED flexible filament lamp designed to provide efficient, uniform and energy-saving indoor lighting. - True Fila is inspired by the traditional tungsten light. This design aims to make True Fila have a vintage visual perception, to meet the market demand for differentiation and antique lamps, and to provide users with a more modern lighting options.
- Research
- With the implementation of the national policy of "phase-out of incandescent light bulbs", LED light bulbs have been promoted by the state, and its energy-saving advantages have been recognized by the majority of families. Since LED filament lamps have the large-angle luminous form of traditional incandescent lights that are familiar to the public, they are popular among the "vintage style" application groups. The appearance of the LED filament lamps also meets the demand for antique lights in the market.
- Challenge
- The biggest challenge in the design process is how to ensure the bending effect and luminous effect of filament lamps. The designer optimized the proportion of phosphor in the filament, so that it can achieve the solar-like spectral effect, and has an excellent light and color quality, with an Ra value of greater than 98.
